Really fantastic service that curates farm boxes from diverse and sustainable local growers. So many options from smoothie to fruit-only and full selection boxes that give you range for price and season! Definitely check out the add-ons, the meat, eggs, fresh and gluten-free pastas, pistachios, dried fruit, and ~the honey~ are all excellent. Danielle's "Goodful Notes" emails are really helpful with storage tips and recipe suggestions so you can make the most of what's freshest, what needs time to ripen and how to facilitate that, etc. Plus you get to sleep in on the weekend without the pressure to make it to the Farmer's Market! Bonus that your money spent stays and circulates in the local economy and goes to a woman-owned, Black-owned small business.

Goodful is amazing! This is our 3rd CSA in the Sacramento area and it’s hands down the best. We get incredible produce and foods and the staff are friendly and supportive. I’ve learned about many cool farms in the area and have been inspired to cook more creative meals. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a CSA

I was introduced to this company from their stand at the Midtown Farmers Market. I was looking for a true local farm to table service and just tried it out. I got their LUXE Bounty Box and was blown away with the quality and variety of products for the price. I got email updates, and texts for my order and instructions on how to properly store all my items. Will definitely be keeping my subscription, and looking forward to the next box.

I started my Goodful subscription when the pandemic started and it was a lifesaver. Not only the quality of products but the amazingly diverse selections made it a better option than shopping at my local farmer’s market! With access to other items like pasta, gluten-free baked goods and herbs, the experience continues to dazzle the palate. I highly recommend Goodful, especially now that winter is coming and Covid and the flu are predicted to be out of control. Great choices, interesting recipes - it’s like having my own personal shopper!

My girlfriend started getting the Bounty Box from Goodful earlier on in their inception and it's a really great way to get seasonal produce. The produce is always handled with care and she receives a really nice email describing every item in the box, recommendations for how to cook it, and personal anecdotes from the owner about her experiences with the vegetables and fruits for the week. It's really personable and that makes it feel more special to be using these local fruits and vegetables and helps me appreciate how great it is to live in the city of trees here in California. If you worry about waste, they use a lot of various recycled produce packaging boxes to deliver the produce and also collect the previous delivery's box if you leave it out on delivery day to recycle. Though I didn't grow up in that time, it has the vibe of going to a local green grocer at the corner and having a kindly merchant from your community put together some goods for you and your own.

All in all, it's a great service and I highly recommend them.

Started using the Goodful service 3-4 weeks ago, after I learned about it at the J St/20th Farmer's Market. I get the weekly Bounty Box and have been really pleased! Even though I know what's going to be in the box ahead of time, it's always a delight to unpack everything. The fruit and veg always look great and there's a lot. The email sent on the day of delivery detailing the items in the box also includes instructions about what to eat first, how to store certain items, and recipe ideas - it's a lot of useful information that undoubtedly takes a lot of effort and time to put together, so thank you! I also really appreciate the option to let the team know (by each Sunday) whether there are any items I'd rather not have in the box, so nothing is wasted - the Goodful team also offered to make a note on my account of any items I never want to receive. I highly recommend them and am glad that I can help support local farmers.
