I rarely right reviews but going solar is important to me. I was unsure with all these companies out there but meeting with Hyperion Solar Energy staff was amazing. The employees are super nice and I had a great experience. The installation was super quick and makes my roof look fancy lol. Overall it was like a 5 hour install and that was it. When I went solar I was expecting to see dramatic reduced hills but I had to understand the science about it and how banking electricity works. Michael my sales representative was amazing and helped my work through and understand the whole process. At times I felt weary but I trusted Michael and so far everything is going as he said it would. I’m Enjoying doing my part to save the world one day at a time.

Sunpower is truly THE SKETCHIEST, worst company to work with. We had our system installed in 2022 and I cannot over emphasize how terrible every single thing has been. They are truly elusive con artists. They took forever to install our system, botched up our electrical panel upgrade, causing our breakers to flip every 30 min in dead summer, damaged our roof causing leaks and proceeded to take over 6 months to address or even respond to communication on either. They installed panels on an old and already worn roof, and are saying their reports show the “roof was new” when of course we know it wasn’t. We deferred to them as experts to help discern if a roof is in condition to have a system installed. That is pure negligence on their part to not document or communicate the roof quality before installing, and now this is their way of charging us even more for their incompetence. Now they are trying to charge us for the removal and reinstall, and we have to pay for the roof replacement as well, all while we have not even had a functional system for a year yet. We currently have a tarp on our roof to protect from the leak, and it’s covering panels during the summer months when we would be banking power. And they are continuing to drag their feet on even moving forward - it has not been another 7 months since notifying them that the roof is again leaking and we need action. This is after a prior year of hounding them about the prior leak which they finally fixed and again said nothing about the quality of the roof. Even their techs were shocked on multiple occasions that they would install a system on our roof in its condition. All while we’ve never even broken even on our energy bill yet, and they’re wasting the months where we would even have any potential to. They have responded to ZERO communication over the last 2 years of dealing with them until I place BBB complaints - which I’ve already done 4 now. And nothing has changed. If I could go back and redo it I would NOT use them. Go look at the BBB reviews and you will see many people experiencing the exact same issues.

At just the right time, Michael Sgambati showed up at my doorstep, and walked me through the process of getting set up with solar and I am very pleased with the result. My solar panel system has been generating solar energy for the past month and it's so cool to watch my bill go down! The planning and install stages were very easy for me as the homeowner. Michael and Paige my project manager were very thorough and answered every question I had in a very timely fashion. Arvin, our salesperson, has gone above and beyond throughout this process and he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We began working with Arvin in November 2022, merely for informational purposes. We were really impressed with his honesty and his willingness to share his experiences and he got us to actually consider installing solar panels with Sunpower. He ended up coming back to our home two more times to answer our follow up questions and we ultimately decided to go through with the installation. He was deeply involved in each step of the process and he was our first call whenever we had questions/issues. He stayed connected until things were completed to our satisfaction. At this point, our installation has been complete for almost a year, but we still regularly hear from Arvin who checks in to confirm things are working as promised. we consider ourselves very lucky that we‘ve had the opportunity to work with him.

He double-checked to make sure all our concerns were addressed. Even after our system was installed he was available to answer any questions that we still had. Going Green was not an easy decision but Michael was able to put us at ease and we knew we were going to have the best system installed on our roof. Excellent service!
