Stopped in for an overnight stay. It was pouring the rain when we pulled in. We were met with a gentleman from the restaurant to show us our spot. We settled in as soon as the rain stopped and went to eat at the restaurant where we met Dave the owner whom I had called for reservations. Super nice guy. We had our puppy with us who had been traumatized by all our travel so we didn't want to leave her in the camper. Dave told us to bring her in where she was met with lots of love. The food was excellent! Highly recommend. We will definitely stay again.

It is right off I20. Only 2 spots available when we arrived at 4p. Site is level with full hookups. Found the gas station next door sells pizza. Nice grass are to walk our dog. Not bad for 1 night.

This RV park is a convenient stop right off i20 in Anniston AL. We were 73’ total and had no problem getting in and parking. The owner met us and walked us right to our spot. The campground sits directly behind the owners Restaurant “Damn Yankees”. We did not eat there but people were raving about the good food and atmosphere. If we were locals this would be our kind of place. Especially to watch football! We will be back if we are back in this area.

I'm gonna be honest here. I'm an African American woman driving my African American winnebago and we probably aren't the most circumspect pair, but we try to pay attention. I have family in the area and passed by this place on I-20 a few times thinking "Nope, never staying there. They don't look welcoming to my coloring".

But this particular day, I was in a pinch and decided to call to check for availability and confirm my thoughts. Spoke with the owner - super nice on the phone.

Showed up with my big rig with a bit of trepidation.

Pleasantly surprised at how easy and nice everyone was.

Looks like they don't take reservations. You basically find a spot or park somewhere out of the way of other drivers, then go to the restaurant in front of the RV park. The bartenders waiters and waitresses help you.

Interesting setup but everyone I encountered was helpful to some extent.

Awkward parking arrangements, but full hookups, not too close together. Good water pressure, no electricity issues. Level gravel. Would stay here again.

Most dishonest business man….. changes prices and very dishonest with those staying in the campground especially those staying longer periods of time due to working out of town. Don’t trust anything about the owner. Very disappointed in the way he does business!
I would give less than zero stars if I could. I can’t rate the restaurant - didn’t eat there. The campground doesn’t have WiFi. The sewer hookup has issues at certain sites. It really is just a big parking lot with hookups for campers.

I stayed for about 2 months and I have 0 complaints. The owner checked up on us every other week to ensure we were happy with our lot and asked if there was anything he could do for us. If you’re looking for a safe/ quiet place with great food a few steps away this is it.

We were looking for an easy on/off of the freeway. Dave answered the phone and was extremely friendly. Couldn’t wait to get some of that home cookin’. However, Dave wasn’t there, but we slept very well. Yes, it is by the freeway, but we had the A/C on and didn’t hear a thing.

If we come back the same way, we will be stopping by again.

After long day through Atlanta traffic, and being on the road, we were welcomed in the park by Dave. The park handles a 45’ RV, towing w full hook ups. “Damn Yankees” restaurant serves the most delicious meals! Home cooked real French fries, Prime Rib, and everything served is 5 star! We found a Gem!!
