A friend and I were driving through town on a road trip down to Daytona Beach, and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to check out a local bakery in Claxton. The donut I had was AMAZING. What made the experience even better was how kind the staff were. Greeted with smiles, and a true southern hospitality experience. 10/10 would recommend!

June 2022 - new hours - they now close at 2:00pm. Sadly, we were too late for fruitcake this trip.

May-June 2021 - My new “best fruit cake” stop. We stopped in town because of a sign we saw for Claxton Fruitcakes. Their shop was closed and we decided to try this place. So glad we did. Great little bakery, good coffee and super congenial staff. We bought the bourbon fruit cake, served it to family, and everyone loved it! Definitely one of the best fruitcakes I’ve ever had!
If you ever visit Claxton, GA do not fail to stop at Georgia Fruitcake Company.

Very good brownies that comes in the brown bag on the table in there, I stopped in every Saturday when I come through there from my during the week trucking routes. The lady who bakes is super nice and sweet lady, she talks to you like she been knowing you all your life. Very friendly and clean atmosphere. I'm going to start drinking coffee out on the patio they have there and just chilax there for a few, it's a very pleasant environment, with all the breakfast goodies that you can handle lol.
