They had a great attitude and did a phenomenal job! They handled are items with care and were very quick about their work - they seriously didn’t waste any time! Experienced and handled hick ups with ingenuity and confidence. They put my nerves at ease about the entire moving process! Very polite gentlemen. I would definitely ask them to move us again. The best movers ever! Luis, Elmer, Alexis, Edwardo, Byron, Parker and Brandon moved 5 storage units into a new house, with lots of construction still going on. They condensed remained storage items into one unit, and smiled all they way through. Day one was a 10 hour day, day two was also 10 hours helping to lay out rugs, move furniture around, and take all the boxes away. Both days were 95 degrees. They were careful, considerate, nothing damaged. A true dream team!!
I also had to move a few more things back and forth from my house to storage and had the team of Stetson and Julian. These two were hard working, patient, great with my dog and were excellent to work with.
Every crew Gentle John’s I’ve worked with has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them!!
I called Gentle John’s for some help moving. Few more items, and asked them to help install a rug, which included lifting a bed to put the rug under. Ray and Marcos were awesome! They got the rug installed and measured to make sure it was centered perfectly, wrapped and loaded a few pieces of furniture, picked up a table from my nieces house, wrapped it and moved everything into my storage unit.
Super professional. On time. Nice to my dog. Couldn’t ask for better help!!

Today around 10:30am my neighbors witness the driver of their moving truck hit my car, broke my headlight get out of the car look at it and get back in his van and leave. I called and spoke with Nick and he didn’t seem to want do anything about it and advise me to call the police so I called the police and filed a hit and run report.

Truly exceptional movers! From start to finish, the communication was clear, timely, and professional. They showed up exactly when they said they would, brought great energy, and hustled nonstop from the moment they arrived at our old home to the last box unloaded at the new one.

Even when we weren’t fully packed, they handled everything with care—going above and beyond to help us finish up, including reassembling our bed (a task I’d been dreading!) without us even asking. They worked efficiently and finished well ahead of schedule, all while maintaining the best freakin’ attitudes—even during the heavy lifts and tight squeezes.

After being recommended by a few different close friends, we called Gentle John's to assist us in moving all of our furniture and belongings out of house and store them for a few months until reconstruction was complete. I cannot tell you how amazing they have been to work with since day one. Between Andy in the office helping us set up our move out day-to storage-to move in date, and our moving crew consisting of Luis, Reinaldo, Alexis and Jose Luis who made sure all of our items were packed with care and furniture was set back up exactly where we wanted them. We could not have asked for a better team than those 4 + Andy. Thank you Gentle John's!!!

I had two different teams come out to help me with my move. There was no moving with a purpose. Things I said not to pack, we're packed and buried resulting in damaged items. The second time I made it clear I needed everything out. I still had to run through and pack after the fact.

I tried giving Gentle John's a second chance but both teams fell way short. Especially for how much we paid for assistance. I would not recommend this moving company.

Edit: as I unpack my boxes, I am finding boxes half full despite being charged per box. Fine China shattered, broken picture frames, plants tossed into random boxes, shattered glass and plant soil INSIDE my desktop computer, a broken violin... The list could go on. They even took a couple entire kitchen cabinet drawers from the apartment I was moving from, which I was charged for by the way on my move out fees. Why would you pack into a box drawers that belong to an apartment?

Oh, and they make it clear you'll only be compensated $0.60 per pound damaged.

Seamless and fast moving experience! I contacted Gentle John's based of the good reviews to possibly help me with a next-day move. The team was available for the job and Andy was super helpful with helping me get everything scheduled. On moving day, the movers met me a little bit earlier than what I was quoted on the phone but that ended up not being an issue because Elmer and Luis H. were fast and efficient! Their customer service and attitudes were great, and they were willing to help me set up all of my furniture. I'd highly recommend this company. 💯
