I had a generator installed by Generator Supercenter of Savannah, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The installation process was unprofessional, this company had failed steps during the permitting process, the technicians seemed unprepared and left damages to my home (see photos below), which required additional cleanup and fixing on our part. None of these experiences should have occurred with a “professional” company.

After taking our money for the installation, I encountered several issues, which other customers have expressed in their reviews. Communication with this company has been frustrating. They DO NOT return phone calls or emails. They are extremely slow to respond and unhelpful in resolving my concerns, especially to existing customers who have already had their generators installed. Most recently, we had an appointment that was scheduled on 10/11/24. NO one showed up, NO one from this establishment emailed or called regarding re-scheduling this appointment. It seems that this establishment’s priority is to TAKE money from new customers rather than properly supporting existing ones, which is truly disappointing. Based on my experience and what others have also expressed in reviews, I highly recommend to take your business elsewhere.

This company has provided valuable information from all departments. The ladies up front greeted me with a smile and helped me with everything I needed to know about my purchase. The lady from the service department was also very helpful in explaining the maintenance contract thoroughly. Thank you Generator Supercenter!

I was out of state when my generator started sending a warning notice (daily). I contacted Generator Supercenter for an inspection (they had installed it). The invoice was $299, and what was reported as wrong was a loose battery cable. I guess I can check that myself in the future. The WiFi connection to my app also shut down (likely when battery was disconnected). When I got home I resolved the WiFi issue. But when taking care of that...I found that the technician had simply not bothered to tighten the bolts on the right side panel. Sorry, for $300 I think you could manage to put the bolts back in, it just seemed like slipshod workmanship. Picture of bolts attached.

Long wait but well worth it. GSC kept me informed and delivered as promised. Great people to work with who are very knowledgeable about their product. Highly recommend them if you are seeking power backup systems.

I worked with Ben Remler of Generator Supercenter on securing a new Generac whole house generator. The process was very smooth and efficient mainly because of Ben’s knowledge of the installation process. I interfaced with the employees at Generator Supercenter from start to finish of the project. Everyone, from the office staff to the installers were courteous and knowledgeable. All of my questions were answered directly in a very professional manner. If you are looking for any type of Generator, I would highly recommend getting in touch with Ben Remler and the Generator Supercenter.

So the problem with this company is what they did to our property. We are the next-door neighbors of one of their customers. In mid February they installed a generator to the neighbors house that needed to be lifted up due to being in a flood zone. In the process they sent an extremely heavy crane truck from a another company. Between the two homes is lawn in which half is our yard and half is the neighbors yard. The truck chose to drive on our yard and not the neighbors yard for the entire visit. Even worse they used our backyard to do three-point turns. We were never asked and we did not agree to have a 20-40 ton truck in our yard. They left several ruts that were several inches deep and crushed and fractured our sprinkler system in two areas. We then had a sprinkler guy out within a day or two of this visit and it was confirmed that they were busted. We had the repair done. Now the generator company refuses to pay the bill which is only $75. I initially called them in February and they promised to call me back within a couple days. They never did. Almost a month later I called again, this was two days ago. They promised to call me that day and never did.

Excellent service and great people to work with. I had a tree knock off the antenna a year after install and they had someone out quickly to take care of it. It needed oil since I had never checked it and it was running a week after a hurricane and they had someone out the day I called. 😃 Happy to recommend them to anyone !

We lost power in the last hurricane and decided to get a generator for our home. We received stellar customer service from Ben. He helped take care of all the permitting, assisted us in the best decision on financing the generator. The installation went perfectly and we now have peace of mind for the next natural disaster.
