Let me tell you. I went to the Madison store because my faucet head was faulty. I was mentally prepared to buy a new one, which was going to cost me 500-600.
The lady at the counter was pretty tough and when i showed her a photo of the faucet head, she sent me around the corner of the store to the parts department and said “don’t bother buying a new faucet if you can replace the head, you’re wasting money”
Sure enough, I found the part and it was perfect, she saved me 300 dollars.

See - I will now ALWAYS go back that that store for plumbing products/tapware because she was tough but took care of her customer. Now that is perfect service.

Rude. Rude. Rude. The employees cannot be bothered to help a customer ready to order and purchase. There were 3 employees, all seated at desks and only one other customer in the store. None of them can even be bothered to stand up to greet you or to answer questions. I was ready to shop local and place an order today. I was hoping to look at sinks and faucets to select and order for my kitchen remodel. When the customer is friendly, greets you, asks for specific products, and to look at options - that is a really important clue that they would like someone to service them. It just takes a little polite service to get the sale. Clueless.

We do not need plumbing supplies for our home often but when we do, this is the go-to place. They always have what we need, but more importantly, they provide excellent advice and insights about options, how to do something, etc. All the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, but most often it's Steve in Parts who is always on-target. Their parking area is a bit cramped and their hours are shorter than Home Depot, but if you can live with that, everything else is superior and excellent. Old fashioned good service, knowledge, and great to deal with.

I try to Shop Madison, because I love Madison, but the individual at the store was nasty, rude, and sarcastic at my most recent visit. Won't be going back there. Better service at Ace in Chatham.
