I had a very positive experience getting a solar installation from Freedom Energy. Taking just a previous electric bill, they determined the appropriate size and number of panels to match our typical electricity usage. Ryan was happy to take the time to speak with me directly on some of my questions and concerns about solar setups in general. Permitting with the city was easy on my end from their document preparation, and the installers were friendly, easy to work with, and professional. The entire installation process was much quicker than I was expecting as well.
The biggest delay was waiting on NorthWestern Energy to approve the generator and grid-tie application, but when they did Freedom checked in to turn on the system. I had a small issue with the monitoring software which Freedom quickly fixed as well. The first full month that the panels were operating, I used less electricity than was generated and the electric portion of my bill was only $4.
I’m overall very happy with the solar setup Freedom designed and installed. If I end up moving or something in the future, I would very likely contact Freedom again for another installation.

Freedom Energy did a great job installing a home solar system for me. The install was a little more complicated than what originally was envisioned, so some extra work was involved. Even though extra charges were warranted, Freedom Energy did the additional work at no additional charge. All of their installation work was timely, professional and clean. I recommend Freedom Energy for your solar installation and servicing needs wholeheartedly!

Planning, permitting and installation was handled seamlessly by Freedom Energy professionals. Installers were very professional and courteous when entering our home. Except our connection fee to the grid we have not had to pay an electric bill since the system was activated!

We had a great experience with Freedom Energy. They were quick to answer all of our questions, even if they were redundant on our part and istilation was painless! All of the planning, permitting and istilation was taken care of for us by Freedom a Energy. They completly worked around our crazy summer sports schedule and extreme heat and got the entire job done over the course of two mornings. The panels look great and have stood up to all of our crazy weather including the micro burts that took out trees and powerlines all over town. And, so far snow has slid right off. The financial aspect working with Freedom and Clearwater Credit union has also been seamless and super easy. We got off equil pay with our previous energy company and have not had an electric bill for months! We could not be happier with our decision to make this investment in our home and future. Two thumbs up, would definitely recommend AND use again!

Ryan, Tim, and every member of the crew were incredible to work with. From the start - Ryan did an incredible job answering all of our questions. Then once the installation process started, the whole crew was great to have over - it's very clear they take a lot of pride in every aspect of the job. Once things were all set, multiple people followed up to make sure everything was working top notch. It's not too often these days that you work with a company and never have a second doubt about who you chose to go with. Freedom Energy checks off all the checkboxes for a company any homeowner would want to work with!!
