>>>This organization clearly has no accountability.<<< Random outages with no obvious reason. No estimated time of repair. No compensation for days without power. Tonight the weather is clear and fine, but yet we are without power. Look at the reviews - we all say the same things but nothing changes. No one at FLEC cares about you or your complaints. You have no choice and they know it.

Terrible communication. We're in Friendsville and the power went out this morning at 8:27 am. It's 5:30 pm and still nothing. Just 28 of us, but same message all day. "We're aware of the outage". So no estimated time of repair or any other kind of message to update us. I'm sure they could do better. So instead of letting us know so we could prepare something to keep a refrigerator and deep freezer full of food from going bad, they determined at some point obviously that this type of communication doesn't matter. So I guess they expect us to dash out and purchase a generator not knowing when it might be back on. I get a few hours but if its that bad they should let us know. Total incompetence or just rude. Let's pick.

Great rates and attentive to outages.We reside in a forest on a rural road Expect! outages during windy storms You can see the updated outage map on the website.It takes time for crews to sift through heavily forested areas to find the tree that fell on the power line They are always prompt getting us back online.The last was 4 hours and not a big deal but normal where we live.If you cannot deal then move to a non forested area not as beautiful

We test our generator regularly and have it at the ready but rarely use it.That is just the norm.
Flec is a very good supplier IMHO.

FLEC is absolute garbage. I'm always without power for an extended amount of time at least 5-10 times a year. If the wind slightly blows or if a few drops of rains falls then forget about it. I live in the brickmill/Hutton ridge area and the service is absolute trash!! Not to mention the influx of people have strained the grid even further without any new substations or improvements that I have seen whatsoever!! When do we the people finally have enough of this crap and stand together against this corrupt monopoly!! Do better FLEC!!

We we're expecting a serious voltage problem. As an electrician I new the seriousness of the problem. Within 40 minutes of contacting fort Loudoun electric, a tech showed up and confirmed the problem. Immediately a crew showed up that was competent , well prepared and pleasant to deal with. They fixed the hazards and made not only my home safe again but the home next door as well that had the same problem and didn't know it. Id like to thank fort Loudoun electric for having such an impressive operation and ensuring my families safety.

Our power went off this morning. After I notified FLEC, I received a callback within 5 minutes & was told someone was on the way. Power was restored within the hour. I want to thank the lineman & everyone else involved. I am on oxygen & this was a great blessing for me. Thanks again!
