I took a rarely used bike I bought second hand for a tune-up. I was told it needed some minor adjustments and a new back tube. He quoted me $85 dollars for the repairs and a wash. I picked it up, and it was still dirty. After some discussions between the cashier and the service department I was told the wash was not written on the repair order and that it would cost more to wash it. When I got it home, I noticed that the back tire is missing the cap. Nobody there seemed to care that the service wasn't what I was promised.

Foothill Cyclery has done it again! I needed a Superfly built from scratch, and I had the pleasure of working with Jake, who went above and beyond to ensure it was perfectly tailored to my needs. The entire process was exceptional, especially his patience in answering all my questions. These guys have been servicing my bikes for years, and their expertise and dedication continue to surprise me. Simply outstanding!

My bike has had a squeaking issue for a couple months and couldn't find the source. Took it in and was told the gearbox loose. Was expecting a specialty repair to potentially cost a lot but it only cost 30 dollars to get the sound diagnosed and fixed!

Staff were nice, delivery option is very convenient, will be going back again.

Rented a Mountain bike from Foothill. Bike was in great shape, well maintained etc., picking it up and dropping it off was easy and the price was exceptional! would highly recommend Foothill Cyclery!

We rented two road bikes at very short notice to ride a long stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway. It was very difficult to find a good rental company in the area between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
We received two very good TREK racing bikes from Foothill Cyclery without pre-ordering. The bikes were very new, clean and worked well. The employees were very friendly and gave us very competent advice, including when it came to route planning.
Unfortunately, I lost my phone there in the parking lot. The Foothill team searched for it, found it, and quickly shipped it to me via UPS. Thank you!

Okay so Foothill Cycles is like my most favorite bike shop of all time.
I’m not kidding.
We have purchased bikes, I’ve had them upgrade and modify bikes, they built our bike rack, they have ordered parts and accessories for us and always with the nicest, most patient staff.
No question is too stupid to ask them. We are so pleased that I’m bringing my bicycle back from Hawaii for them to reassemble and tune up.
If you need anything bike related, don’t go anywhere else.

All four of the gentlemen I interacted with were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and provided what I consider 5-star customer service. The level of customer service didn't change, despite my looking for a low-priced bike or my beginner questions. There was never an ounce of condescension, which happens at other places. It was an absolutely wonderful experience, and I will never go anywhere else. Thank you to Josh and the crew for treating me so well, even with my dumb questions!
