Been a member for 6 years. Second time this year they send me a notice to disconnect my power (it is Friday night) on Monday morning for non payment. I mailed my check 22 days ago. Last Time they said they have problems processing checks from the Atlanta area sometimes. And my check got cashed three days later after I already made an online payment to them. Their website is disgustingly horrible trying to make a payment. I’m so tired of energy companies like Flint having us hostage and giving us absolutely no time to respond, I get this in the mail Friday night after hours and they say they’re disconnecting me on Monday morning really you gotta be kidding. A very frustrated Flint EMC customer of six years.

Absolutely terrible, when you try to speak with them they will just talk to you like they don’t care. We manage and 230 unit complex and if a resident doesn’t pay their bill then they just put that bill on another persons account.

Flint electric has gotten too big for their britches they don't care about helping the Common Man like they used too. It seems now all they want to do is raise your rates charge you more deposits, and God knows they love to cut peoples electricity off so they can make more money. They have made it so hard for the everyday working person, with all their rules, regulations, restrains ,plus more and more deposits. Flint electric has a monopoly so they can do whatever they want to two people and there's nothing you can do about, Flint EMC raises money for ridiculous Charities, but won't even consider helping
their own customers.
