Horrible experience today at the testing center. I was already very anxious when arriving. I was told to place my items in a locker with no instructions other than to bring up my id. When I walked up with identification, an older woman with short dark blonde hair stared at me and asked me where my key was. I told her I put my items into a locker with a paperclip lock, as most of the vaults were secured that way. She seemed amused and made me walk back and forth THREE times instead of telling me I needed to bring up a numbered key. I could hear her whispering behind me each time. I was notably trembling because of how nervous I was to take this test and I was not thinking clearly. "Do you want your stuff stolen?" she asked me. Each time she said something her tone was discerning. Then she told me to stand on the orange tape on the floor. I had no idea what was happening, but I stood directly behind it. She paused again and said, "Stand on the tape. Are you with me". It was a one step difference. I was so confused until I was finally advised of a clothing check. Passive aggression is not how you treat students or test takers. I felt the need to apologize for doing nothing wrong. Today was my first time at the testing center. I wasn't appropriately advised, and as a result I was treated poorly. After the experience, I was even more anxious to sit down for my test than before I originally walked into the testing room. Also, note she did not wish me good luck on my test or instruct me to bring up identification when using the restroom. I don't know if students are often treated this way here, but regardless, it's unacceptable. It's not hard to treat people kindly.

I am an online student so I don't come on campus often. First, FAU has a big issue with parking. I had to park at the meter when I already have a permit. Second, the testing room has slow computers and mice are not calibrated. The people working there were nice and seems to know the computers are working slow. I hope I don't have to use this center again, and if I do, I need to be be really fast because even if the computer is slow the time is still running.

Prometric test center is an excellent place to do an exam: clean, tidy. the people who work there are very friendly. And in my case it was an 8-hour exam, so for short breaks, the location of the bathroom is super convenient (it is in front of the exam room). next to the exam room there are machines to buy water, sodas or chips (super good option). the air conditioning is not too cold (it is an acceptable air). definitely a good place to take your exam.

Wanted to cancel a test 2 weeks before the test date and they said no refunds, even partial. So basically they take your money for doing nothing. They don’t specify this policy anywhere at the time of booking.

I didn't get the name of the lady who helped us, but she was one of the most gentle people I've ever met!!
