Buyer Beware! Do not expect your Contract terms with this Company to be honored. We hired EZNERGY in 2016 for our home installation. The contract was signed in May of 2016 and fully executed which included the specific line:
"25 Year Material, Labor & Workmanship Warranty on Panels and Inverters." In February of 2025 (8 years after install) we started receiving system notifications of problems with our Solar system; turns out two Micro Inverters are bad. After reaching out via email and phone to the contact person we worked with in the past and not hearing back, we finally reached Jim on 2/24/2025 and explained our issue with the system. After saying he would look into the issue, (not even an apology that we were having an issue in the first place) we didn't hear back until 3/5. The details confirmed that two Micro Inverters were bad so they would be charging us for the labor of the service call. Our fully executed contract clearly states that Labor is covered. When we were looking to buy a Solar system, this was one of the reasons we chose EZNERGY because 25 years for labor, and panels and inverters sounded really attractive. After providing the contract details back to Jim and speaking again on 3/7/2025 about this agreement it was stated that "The company that they deal with no longer reimburses THEM for the labor of the repair." What their agreement is with their 3rd party manufacturers or vendors, and us (The Customer) are two different things! Our Contract was with EZNERGY. The problem is not only would they charge us for this repair issue happening now, but anything they have to come back for in the future and who is to say that the other terms in the contract would not also be ignored/breached. This system is just 8 years old and we paid over $30K for it. So once additional parts continue to fail, we have to keep forking out money for something that the contract stated was covered and for which we signed based upon those terms originally. As soon as we explained how this was not fair and a breach of contract (Which it clearly is) he said to mail his lawyer, and ended the conversation. Not an apology, not a care in the world from this business owner. I have been in Customer Service for over 25 years and never have I dealt with a person so indifferent and apathetic with his customers or a signed contractual agreement. If you want to get Solar and care about your contract, do NOT deal with EZNERGY or Jim. They will squirm their way out of it and not care what impact it has to you or your family, or business.

BEWARE! THIS SOLAR COMPANY IS THE WORST! THEY INSTALLED SOLAR ON MY FATHER IN LAWS HOUSE, AND THE ROOF STARTED LEAKING WITHIN DAYS. TRIED GETTING IN CONTACT WITH THEM FOR MONTHS, AND NO RESPONSE. MY FATHER IN LAW ENDED UP PASSING AWAY AND WHEN THEY FINALLY GOT BACK TO US, THEY TRIED TELLING US THEY HAD NO CONTRACT WITH US AND THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE!! EVENTHOUGH THERE WAS A 5 YEAR WARRANTY ON ALL WORKMANSHIP DONE BY THEM, THEY DID NOT HONOR THIS. Do not use this company.
