I had to give a star because I was unable to give no star at all, which was my real reaction. My home was inspected and the service guy changed a couple light bulbs and gave me a power strip, that does not work. He then changed my thermostat to a smart one. I thought this was a great idea! This was in August. It is now September and we’ve had a few cool nights. I tried to set the thermostat to heat one morning to knock the chill off (I’m glad I did!!!!!) and my furnace did not come on. I called BG&E and I was directed to EZ Green Home. I should have known that with a name like that one, there could be problems….and there have been ever since. I can’t get them to send a tech out to either fix the thermostat or put my old one back in. I got passed around from one person to another and the tech doesn’t seem to have the time to come fix the problem or even let me know what’s going on with him coming back. I have repeatedly asked to be put on the schedule so that time isn’t an issue, but so far they have not. The ā€œinspectionā€ could be a scam to get customers to buy additional services based on their ā€œfindingsā€. Such as a new furnace or ac unit. Since they clearly do not value the customer, myself, I will not be recommending them to anyone, far from it. Communication is very important. They do not seem to think it is. After this review I’m going to the next platform to warn others about this company. It seems that I may have to get another, more reputable company, to come in to fix the problem and forward the bill to EZ Green Homes. I’d hate to have to wait until they ā€œfind the timeā€ to come and fix the thermostat that they put in. By then it could be winter and my pipes could burst from lack of heat, for which I’d have to charge the pipe replacement to them. Plus any water damage. I thought that the name meant *making your home green would be easy*, but based on my experience, I believe the name means just what it implies….easy green (money). So far it seems that they have done nothing to earn the money that BG&E must be paying them. I’m very disappointed. I’m very environmentally conscious and going green is very important to me, however, it doesn’t seem to be a priority to this company despite its name. I strongly suggest that anyone who is considering going green do not go through BG&E. They source out the work to subcontractors without telling the customer that they it is standard practice for them to do so or even who the subcontractors are so that the customer can research them. Hello. My initial call was last week. I’ve called just about every day since then and this is the first I’m hearing this. No one, not even the tech assigned to this has said anything about this. Not even the receptionist that I’ve spoken to. Or are you talking about today? I have been here all day. No one called. It is almost 8:00 at night. No one has come to my door. I would have been alerted if anyone came on my porch. Perhaps your tech went to the wrong house? When did you office/tech call twice? I do not have a call from EZ Green on my caller ID. That would be how a professional business would handle a call. Robocalls don’t use business names in calling, I only answer calls that I can identify, like most people these days. And no one left a message. No one has come to my home. I’ve been here everyday. All day. And without an advanced notice who would be waiting at 7:30pm for an unscheduled, unannounced, unknown tech showing up at their door? Please try someone else with this. I am not the one. Please send someone, for real this time, to fix my thermostat. Thank you. Good night.

Since I had waited so long to have someone come for my thermostat, I got up to let him in. He was very professional and seemed to know his stuff. A dramatic contrast to what I had experienced thus far. You would do well in keeping him.

They have a great lack of knowlegde about electric and thermostat and terrible punctuality they never show up on time and they waste your time i had to wait over 30 days . they kept promising me different agents and different times and they never call you and never show up. total waste of time . and they dont even know how to change a thermostat in some cases i dont think they are trained properly

Today a sweet tiny girl knocked on the door. She introduced herself as Brandy from EZ Green. She explained to home energy check up. She walked through my house changed out my regular bulbs with energy efficient led bulbs. Then I was completely amazed how fast and properly She removed my old shower heads and replaced a brand new efficient one on. She was respectful, sweet and by time she left my husband and I felt like we made a friend and felt that she wanted to help us save and cared. I will definitely recommend her to install other friends and family of mine.

A Rep by the name of Drew came out to my home . Drew installed new bulbs and a new shower head which was fine. However, at the end of his visit he passed me his phone to speak to customer service. When this genius gave me his phone with his texts messages were up, displaying a conversation between himself and dispatch. Drew stated ā€œ I hate that they spelled like thatā€ Then proceeded to state that ruined his day. Sir, understand this! I did not ask you to come to my home . I was busy cooking and cleaning my home. You interrupted my day! And if the spelling of my name bothered you so much, you definitely could have kept it moving being as though you already saw my info before knocking on my door! On top of that you did a horrible job installing the shower head! That was very unprofessional as well as uncalled for. I hope you get fired .

Aaron Pearson visited my home on September 17th 2022. He approached my home in a very professional manner. He explained who he was why he was visiting my home, and how he could help me save on my energy bill. He suggested many things I could do around my home which would benefit me in the long run. He then proceeded to ask if he could look at my light bulbs, shower head, and faucets. I agree to let him change out many of my light bulbs. All in all, Aaron did an excellent job. I then asked if he would be interested in visiting and assisting family and friends with their energy bills at no cost that's what made it so great finally Entergy customers here in Mississippi are getting one leg up in our bills. Thank you Aaron Pearson for visiting my family that day keep up the excellent work great job.
