Etowah Water notified us of a water leak at our home. Initially, we fixed what we thought was the problem and sent in our receipts for the repair. We were given a one time a year credit towards our bill.
I checked back with Patty Day, customer service manager, and she promptly informed me that there was still a leak showing in our usage. We have six toilets, and as we tweaked and repaired each one I would ask Patty again to check our usage. She was always so pleasant and responded to my emails immediately.
It took awhile to find the culprit which meant I emailed Patty many, many times. Instead of waiting for the next bill to generate and see that it was still higher than normal, Patty helped us monitor along the way.
I really appreciated her assistance and excellent customer service!

Absolutely horrible customer service. I understand customers can be a hassle but when you answer the phone already annoyed then proceed to treat the person you’re speaking to rudely you are the problem. I’m not sure how there aren’t more complaints about the person who is handling customers because I for sure will be asking for someone to speak to next time I have to call. Hanging up the phone abruptly too was extremely rude and unnecessary. Either they need to change their customer service etiquette or get a new person to handle customer relations.

I have just had the most incredible conversation with the manager at Etowah & sewer. I called to pay my bill and she refused to take the payment citing company policy. Before I could explain my situation she was yelling over me saying I HAD to pay online. Even after explaining my hand is in a cast she still refused my payment asking “are both your hands in a cast”. I can’t negotiate the web site right now so I have to pay by phone or risk getting my water turned off. I have never been subjected to such rudeness and have been a customer since 1995.

It is impossible to get in contact with anyone here. I set up my service and the represenative who called to collect the connection fee was extremely rude.

I am so completely impressed with the service of Etowah water. They proactively contacted us about an underground leak that we didn’t even know existed. Then gave us Support on next steps. Dana was particularly amazing. I can’t speak enough about the customer service and I’m proud to be a customer.

Excellent Customer Service!! Shout out to Dana who notified me that we seemed to have a leak somewhere as our gallon usage had spiked. We had not noticed any toilets or water running inside nor wet areas outside. Had a new line installed within 3 days and Etowah adjusted our usage for billing purposes.
Thank you for notifying us and thank you for referring me to your billing procedures. All very easily understood and easy to comply!!!
Not only did she notify me but once we determined the problem was not inside the house, she asked someone to go and turn the water off at the meter for us. Thank you to that person!!!
