I recently had EnergyPlusSolar in Palmdale, CA (owned by Eric Wedell) (energyplussolar.com) install a Tesla Powerwall 3 at my home. My primary reason for having the Powerwall 3 installed was to augment my current Solar System to provide power when Southern California Edison experiences a power outage (induced or due to a malfunction) I am still able to maintain lights, keep critical appliances running, and even have Air Conditioning during the summer months.
The system is working well and as soon as Tesla makes them available, I am having Eric install a second Powerwall 3 to double my current battery back-up capacity.
Working with Eric and his team was very easy. He took care of providing all the equipment, pulling the required permits and the installation. The installation team showed up on time and completed the job efficiently and effectively. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and the installation is extremely professional!
I want to add that the primary reason I went to energyplussolar in the first place is that they are the very same company that installed my solar system almost 11 years ago! The solar system has been operating for almost 11 years and has not had a single issue over that time. The installation was top notch then and is top notch now! Energyplussolar pricing is extremely competitive in fact given the cost of the components and the labor involved I don’t think you would be able to find such a quality product installed at such a reasonable price anywhere in the area!
Thanks Eric (and Team) for a great job! Now even when SCE goes offline, we will still have lights and most importantly AC!

So we went with Sunpower. High quality panels, so so battery. Eric and his team installed everything on our house very professionally. Once the ball was rolling everything fell into place quickly. Permits are another thing, no fault of his just be prepared for very picky city & county permits. Thank god we live close to Eric & his shop, he always came over & fixed any bugs that needed fixing. I hope he stays in the solar business for a long time because without him I think our service would be a nightmare. Thanks Eric for helping us out & hope the help continues into the future.

Since I have had the solar panels put in - my electric bill has been cut by an average of 80% and at times even more. Obviously summer months is a different story but they are still extremely helpful. The panels will pay for themselves within 6-7 years. Going with a reputable company like Energy Plus is definitely the way to go. Eric is a great person to work with. He is honest and will not overcharge for his service. Also if you do your research you will find that Energy Plus has the best solar panels on the market. He installed SunPower panels for us. Right now is a great time to buy since the federal government is offering a 30% tax credit. If you are going to live in your home for over 10 years - solar is worth getting. You can do your research but at the end, you will find that Energy Plus and Eric are the company to go with.

So far we are pleased with our experience choosing SunPower by Energy Plus Solar. I give top marks for the sales, installation, ease of total process, and performance so far. System was installed and turned on in early Dec 2018. Four months later and it looks like we are on track to meet our 100% of our production needs by the end of the year.
I got multiple phone quotes, and two in person. Energy Plus was more expensive, but I felt it was the right choice given the quality of the SunPower panels. I should have a complete return on investment in ~7 years.
Everyone we dealt with were professional and informative. Low pressure sales so I could take my time making an informed decision. They made it easy - just pay and forget. Installation was very clean and looks nice on my roof. If you have been on the fence about solar do it now before the rebates go away!

I have a new build home that is undern2 years old. I live in California and solar is a requirement for all new homes. My builder uses Sunpower for their solar panels so I bought through sunpower because that was the only option given to me. My solar panels are under 2 years old. I bought them , not leased. My panels have not been working for idk how long now. I've been paying for my full electricity bill because my panels are not properly functioning. I've been waiting 2 weeks for someone to come look at the panels to fix them. Today I was told that I might be charged for anything wrong with them. These panels are not even 2 years old , they should be completely 100% covered under warranty . I should not have to come out of pocket at all for anything that is wrong with them for at least 10 years. Now I have to wait another week for the company to Call me back to schedule someone to come out after already waiting 2 weeks for this. I want money refunded to me for electric charges that I've been paying while my panels are not functioning. As a company with system monitoring of the panels, I should not be responsible for calling if they are not working. The company should be automatically alerted. Or the app that I use should be alerting me. Terrible handling and if I could I would go with a different solar company.

We were a customer of SunPower at our previous home and were very pleased with the solar system. So when we moved we picked SunPower again. Our installer was Energy Plus Solar. Our new system is much more advanced over our previous system. In less than a week Energy Plus Solar had the large solar array installed and attached to our home. The connection is so simple it's barely visible. And there's no equipment on the side of our house as I've seen with other solar systems. The SunPower Monitor on my phone shows how much we generate, how much we use and how much we supply to the power company. We are very pleased with SunPower by Energy Plus Solar. And excellent solar system installed by an excellent dealer.

Once the project is installed it is impossible to get a hold of anyone. Now my $30k++ whole system is not working. Do not use energy plus solar, go with a company that has good customer service. I even over heard the owner Eric telling is employees that he did not care if they drop my new equipment while putting it in. If you want it done right and want good customer service go with someone else. Trust me energy plus solar is not worth the money!!
