Beware, I just became a customer of theirs. They offered a free inspection as a new customer. I figured what's the big deal being I just brought my oil tank up to compliance three years ago. They failed it for a slightly bent leg on it. This same leg was slightly bent when installed three years ago. After I straightened it out. I called them to get the red tag off. They lead me to believe that they are not going to until I replace the tank. This is not right. Please do not sign up with them.

Energy Co-op of Vermont is great! Every interaction with them has been perfect from telephone calls, technicians, fuel delivery and drivers, billing, stops by the office... everything. If we have a question or concern the response has been prompt and helpful. My husband and I highly recommend them!

We had one of zones fail overnight, naturally it was on a Sunday. Called in to have a tech come out and within a short time Shawn C. was here. 30 minutes later it was all taken care of.
Shawn was extremely nice, very professional, and even taught me something.
We have never had a bad experience with the Energy Co-op and have been with them for many years.

Well run organization I would certainly use them again, very happy. Joe was great on the sales and design side of things. Communication was on point from my initial website inquiry

Richie did the installation and he was great! I had a 12 yr old 40 gal natural gas water heater and upgraded to a new 65 gal RHEEM heat pump with dehumidifier. Richie did great work, communication throughout the day was on point and he vacuumed and cleaned up after.

After going a few days without hot water and paying a plumber and an electrician to diagnose the problem (and fail) I called ECVT and Pete came over and diagnosed the issue and repaired it quickly. I have total confidence in Pete to maintain my systems

Tried to get an account setup with this company at the end of December but they did not return any of my voicemails or respond to the online form I filled out. We moved into a new house and were out of heating oil the first weekend we were there, so had to get an account setup elsewhere. Now, a month later, they randomly show up and deliver heating oil when we have a delivery already scheduled with the company we have been using. We’ve never had any contact with them prior to the delivery today & when I called they were extremely rude about it and said that they used my information from the online form to create an account.

This place just does whatever they want & doesn’t communicate.

We just had our furnace and hot water heater replaced with the Energy Co-op. Everything from the sales process to install was great. Joe was a professional sales person and very easy to work with. Richie and the rest of the install team were great to work with and removed a furnace, oil tank and hot water heater and replaced it all the same day! I requested a last minute change with the gas piping and without hesitation they accommodated my request. Great company!
