EMPWR Solar has been great from the the first salesman to the final installation. Everyone has been great and almost a year into it I have no regrets or complaints. It has really cut my Duke power bill way down and it is nice to be using solar power. This is a company that cares about what they are doing and the people they deal with.

I have had connectivity issues from day 1. They did get resolved, but since the hurricane, the issues are back, and nobody responds to my emails. Poorest customer service I have ever dealt with. I wish that I hadn’t had the panels installed. Wouldn’t recommend this company.
I would like to update this review. Amanda has been great trying to help with this connectivity issue. It still hasn’t been resolved, but she is still trying to to get to the bottom of it.

We had been thinking about getting solar panels on our house for a long time. We met with a variety of different companies, but we were really drawn to Empwr Solar. Their communication and transparency into our project was superb. They set realistic expectations with us so we knew how our project was progressing. Everything from the sales team to the project management team, and then the install team was all a great experience. The day of install the crew came out during the time window (we know this doesn’t always happen) given. They did a fantastic job. They cleaned everything up and let us know when they were done and explained how the system worked. We have already had neighbors asking about our system, and sent those referrals on over to the team at Empwr. I wish we would’ve met them seven years ago when we were first looking into Solar. Great customer service!

We just had our solar panels installed by EMPWR Solar and it was an excellent experience. The sales process was super easy (no high pressure pitching at all) and Julie was great to work with. It did take a couple of months from when we signed the paperwork until install, but it was the end of the year and a lot of things delay. The installers that actually put the panels on the roof were some of the nicest, most courteous people who’ve worked at our house. They were very patient with our dogs, asked permission to leave materials overnight and stacked them neatly, and cleaned up everything! Can’t speak highly enough of them.

I’ve been told by the director of communications and development multiple times my reimbursement payment is a priority and that I would receive it in a few weeks. Each time the timeframe passes I wait a few weeks to a month before reaching out again giving plenty of time to give an update, which they don’t.

I was originally told 04/01/2024 for it, which was already three months past the discussion of the topic. I still have not received it almost a year later. As many others have stated, customer service is not taken seriously with this company.

I had solar panels with a solar generator installed last August. I am loving my low electric bills and peace of mind that if the power is out, I will still have internet, fridge and lights working. I work from home so that was important to me. The team is professional and the products are top notch. I highly recommend them.

The rep moe was very informative and wasn’t so pushy compared to all the other companies I sat with. It seemed like other reps were hiding stuff about going solar. He was blunt and straight to the point. He educated me on the 1-1 buy backs and the utility connection fee. Will most likely go with Empwr after that great experience!
