The worse non empathetic utility company I ever dealt with. Rented a house house that had a slab leak. Landlord refused to pay the water bill or even spilt the cost with me. Mind you wasn’t our fault. So I’ve been trying to pay in payments a $800 bill. Fast forward moving into another house unable to get service under my name unless I pay the whole bill. Did not want to work with me at all. Didn’t care. Most places would work with you considering how hard it is now. My bill was $125 a month I’ve been paying double since this happened. Do better to help the community!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I have been in Elsinore for years and never had a problem till now. I moved to my new house 1st of this year and when I transferred my account they said no deposit was needed. I get a $259 bill so I called and they said they made a mistake and didn’t take into account my payment from my other house. They came back on the phone and now said that was fixed but now I owe $359 because NOW THE SUPERVISOR WANTS A DEPOSIT. Elsinore has management issues, all they want is MONEY!!!!

Make sure you dont have your water service interrupted. They charged $45 to reconnect and a $250 deposit. Least understanding utility around. Fall behind on other bills not your water bill.

They are awful and terribly expensive. Our community also smells awful. They have auto payment options that don't work making you think you paid in order to charge you again for late fees. Even online before paying my bill it says "auto payment scheduled" my bill hasn't been paid in 4 months. They also add lots of random fees that are irrelevant to us.

Real facts. EVMWD wants their customers to fail. Because it's profitable. See Water Rates are set and regulated by the state. But fines, citations and other surcharges are not. They govern themselves and can set their own fine schedule as long as they make it public.

Real Scenario: Customer is two weeks late making a payment. Their average water bill is $150. Here is what happens EVMWD add on an additional $500 in surcharges then slam two months together. Bring your bill to $800 just for being two weeks late. So they have no incentive to help customers, in fact it's just the opposite. That is equal to five months of water they gained in just one month.

Worst corrupt monopoly on the planet. They cut my water even if my bill is 13 dollars and no months behind. They have charged me over $13,000 in late fees and I've only used about $1000 of water the last 13 years.

Worst water districts we've ever dealt with.. purely a government subsidized monopoly. Nothing these guys do is beneficial for the public. They spend all of their money on their campus and fake educational material while causing environmental issues and poor oversight. The employees are rude and the district is corrupt
