Absolutely ridiculous energy prices. My price to compare is $0.09/kWh, and Eligo more than doubles that at $0.19/kWh. When I tried to call, nobody picked up. I'm changing suppliers through my state's supplier comparison website as soon as possible.

I live in Michigan, I was contacted by this company for gas services. As an alternative to dte I gave them a try- the rates sounded good. Fast forward almost a year and the three month contact that I agreed to is over and they are charging me what ever they want. They explained that I didn’t cancel so they continue to supply energy, and since I’m not in contact can charge me what ever rate they want. I’ll stick with DTE

Complete scam! Stay away!!!!! This company should be closed for fraud. They initially gave me a great price for my natural gas so I decided to switch from my current supplier to Eligo. Never once did the representative say the the rate was an introductory rate and they increase the price after a few months. After receiving 2 back to back invoices of $600, I decided to go into the Michigan gas choice website to compare prices. Eligo was charging over $14 per MCF when other suppliers are charging $5. They straight robbed me. Needless to say, I cancelled with them but they’re saying that it takes 1-2 billing cycles for the change to take place so I have to endure these insane rates for way longer than I hoped. I’m reading other reviews and I feel horrible for the other customers who’ve also been scammed . One customer said she received a bill for $4,600. This company is bound to get sued for deceptive business practices. They need to be held accountable for taking advantage of people.

Under no circumstances should any person do business with this company. They'll price gouge you at random for no reason. They are currently trying to charge me 150% my local utility rate with zero warning of a price increase. Evil sleez bags. Avoid at literally all cost.

Been with Eligo for over a year now. I do the 3 month contracts for the lowest rates... as long as I call them a month (roughly) before my term expires (I set Google calendar reminders just as a precaution), I usually get the same or better rate for my new term and it's always a lot cheaper than any of the other options I've found. This has really cut back on our electric bills and Eligo staff is always friendly when I call. Keep in mind, if you do let the contract lapse you're going to be looking at a much higher rate, but having to call them once every 3 months to keep getting the best rates I've ever been able to get is worth it. Thanks Eligo!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY!!!! They make it sound like they’re giving you a great deal compared to other companies, then without telling you end up being triple the cost. Then when you say you want to cancel they tell you it’ll take 2 billing cycles to do it.

After speaking with our previous gas company (whom we are going back to) they said it is normally instantaneous, but this isn’t the first time they’ve heard of this shady company doing this.

Now the concern is they will jack the rate even higher as a punishment for canceling. That’s at least how the rep made us feel with her “could care less” attitude.

You bill will triple out of no where. Do Not work with this company. They will rob you. Figuratively. My bill went from 200 dollars to 600. They continue to raise the rate after your contract is up. I was never called or reminded when the contract was up even though that was the expectation since I made it clear that their winter time rates were high. I don't trust the information they gave me because the rates they told me they have charged over that time wasn't near what they charged me nor does it match the past accounts of people who have reviewed this company. I believe this is a scam and at worst a company that should be shut down. I might pay for some advertising space to warn people. It is cheaper than my energy bill. We should all sue!
