We were looking for shades to match existing sun shades installed in our house by the previous owners. I ordered online with EcoSmart Shades and was pleased with their communication and the quality of the product. We had a few questions along the way, and EcoSmart Shades replied quickly to my queries. When we thought they hadn't sent us enough brackets for installation, they promptly sent us some additional brackets at no cost to us. We are already discussing additional shades to purchase from them.

I did a lot of research because this is the first time I'd ordered and installed shades on my own. I got some in a previous house, but a professional measured all the windows and helped me select. This time, I wanted to try it on my own and needed a large shade for my bedroom to block out light, help with energy efficiency, and prevent my dogs from jumping on the window with the top-down, bottom-up manual feature. I also didn't want exposed strings.

At first I was skeptical about buying from EcoSmart because they were one of the first companies that popped up in my Google search, which doesn't always equate to quality. This time it did.

I ordered 10 samples and they arrived quickly and all looked great—it was difficult to choose the best for my room.

I measured and remeasured my window, worried that I'd get the measurements slightly wrong and the shade wouldn't fit. This happened with the curtains I was using—they were too short.

But a few weeks after ordering, I got the shade in the mail. It was well packed and the instructions were good. It took me about 30 minutes to install because I had to adjust one of the brackets several times, but I made it work, and they look and function great.

The only downside is that the prices went up a good amount between the time I started shopping and when I ordered, but regardless, this seems to be a case of "you get what you pay for", and I'll likely buy from EcoSmart for my other windows.

I just wanted to send photos and a big THANK YOU for such an incredible product! I have been searching high and low for shades that came in a chocolate brown color, didn't break the bank and also didn't detract from our new windows. Your shade is just the thing and seamlessly fantastic! We received it in record time and packed so well, it was a relief to get it in perfect condition even though it was huge! The best part was it was so easy for my husband to install, the whole unit went up instantly in comparison to some cheaper custom made shades we ordered recently that took the better half of a day to go up. This was a test order and we will order our second set shortly. Well done!

We were looking to replace our shades in our bedroom, and my wife asked me to find a company that sustainably produces them. We liked EcoSmarts website, very easy to maneuver, and find the shade style we were looking for. We requested several samples, and within a short period of time we received the samples, and placed the order shortly afterwards. The shades arrived within a week or so, and were easy to install. We were able to catch them on sale, which was nice as well. I would highly recommend EcoSmart to anyone looking for a quality shade.

After doing a lot of research on new motorized shades, we chose EcoSmart shades because of the costs, and because they are an American made product based out of Vermont. The website ordering process was easy to get the right shades, the customer service is excellent, and they came two weeks early! We ordered four motorized shades, and the remote was already preprogrammed. The shades are beautiful, were easy to install, and we can already tell the house is less drafty since they have been up. I highly recommend EcoSmart shades and would definitely buy from them again.

I needed new shades for my kitchen, the cell-shaped kind that have some thermal value. I found EcoSmart online after seeing way higher prices from other companies.They were a joy to work with - the measure and order part was super easy, as was ordering - and the shades arrived, perfectly sized, within a week. Very functional, very satisfied.

I just received my six cellular shades after ordering them online 10 days ago from EcoSmart. We installed them all in less than one hour. The detailed description on each one helped me to remember which one went where; left side, right side, office/kitchen window, etc. We ordered 4 for our kitchen with standard draw cords and 2 for my office with top/down/bottom up draw cords for privacy. I just LOVE them. The look of the shades, as well as the smooth draw cord and locking mechanism reflect quality and pride in workmanship.

Although a had a bit of trouble creating an account (user error for sure!). I got a rapid reset of the account right after calling their phone number and speaking with Michelle. I even got a 'you're welcome' email from David once he reset my account. Very nice, personalized service.

I won't go anywhere else next time I need shades; and highly recommend this small, family business!! Thanks so much EcoShades!!
