I found Darren on the Solar facebook group - finally someone who had an opinion about battery / solar that was backed by data. I messaged him the outcomes I was wanting to achieve and the steps I was doing. We have a lot of power cuts so I wanted a 2 - 4 hour run time and auto cutover. We went for 40kwh batteries and an inverter to allow solar to be added closer to summer. We use the night rate power of 6p from 12 - 7am and then no grid from 7am. We have had a few power cuts and only knew about them as the app tells me the system is detached from the grid. Darren and Andrey were incredibly knowledgeable and seemed more interested in assisting customers instead of selling them things they don't need (which often happens). The onsite electricians they used were brilliant, tidy, fast and couldn't have been better. Highly recommend EcoESS to anyone looking for batteries and solar.

Darren from Eco-Ess provided the batteries and full support to my installer of choice. The batteries are performing brilliantly and were easy to install and any teething issues were soon sorted. I think they are the best looking and best value for money DC battery stack on the market! Great service from Darren and Eco-Ess - I recommend them 100% if you are in the market for home batteries ?

I decided to contact ECO ESS because they, and in particular Darren, were very vocal on a number of the facebook groups for solar and batteries, offering help and advice for free. The team were super approachable and answered all the questions I had, making me confident in my decision to proceed. Great communication throughout and the install team were equally as responsive, helping me out with a few things post install. Last of all, Darren from ECO ESS has been in communication since, making sure the install went well and answering any questions I have had post install l. Genuinely lovely and helpful people, couldn’t recommend them more.

I've been buying Eco-ess automatic transfer switchs for a few months now and i can honestly say the are an excellent bit of kit.
Easy to install, I've used both single phase and three phase.
