Managed to get in the door to buy a few things before close but I didn't realize it had gone past closing time. The staff could have been friendlier as I stopped briefly to respectfully interact with the staff but no someone was holding the door wide, silent, giving me a death stare.
Is that what "showing someone the door" means because I've seen friendlier door-stops. And I though introductions to a means to enter of exit isn't usually so subtle lol.

Picked up a couple of things real quick. Short lines and friendly staff. They were out of many things but not what I needed.

This location has issues. Sure equipment can fail but add that with really empty shelves and a dirty store I think a 1 is a good number to give them.

They have some cool books and movies sometimes. Can't beat the prices. Last time I was there I found a copy of Douglas Adam's "Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy". Also bought several "Shudder" original movies. Which was a very nice find. 5 stars! Although maybe they should change the name to Dollar.Twentyfive tree.

This is THE BEST DOLLAR TREE in Birmingham. The employees are very nice, but it was so nice to go inside a store with full shelves. They had more variety than any other dollar tree I've been to, and that's a bunch!!!? I want to thank the employees there for keeping the shelves full so the customers can find what they need. I was amazed to see the difference in that particular dollar tree, that they had everything I needed. Thank you ladies for an awesome experience because it's obvious yall are working together as a team and know exactly how to accomplish your jobs that the customer will be helped to find anything you might need. The ladies that work there are all friendly and truly a blessing. I even saw one of the younger employees helping an elderly person try on different reading glasses since the customer couldn't read the power sticker on the lens. She helped her try them on until she had a pair she Really liked. Then she asked the elderly lady if she needed help finding other items, and so she helped her on the food aisle. It's so great to see millennials helping the elderly senior citizens that need help with their shopping etc. I felt like the girls working there wanted to make sure every customer was happy when they walked out of those doors with their shopping bags. I even saw the Millennial helping that elderly lady take her buggy to her car to help her with her bags. The show of respect to the elderly really touched my heart.

There was only one line and it was long. The customers were complaining. The freezer was almost empty and needed to be restocked. We were told that the other workers were on break. Why would they go on break at the same time? That was not good management!
