I always work to support local businesses just as I want the same for our family business, and DIY is a great family owned and operated establishment. The service is almost always great, and most of the staff do a great job of serving customers. They have a great variety of products in stock, and Always load the heavier items. It's also a great place to exchange or refill your propane tanks.

In the spirit of gratitude, with it being Thanksgiving and all, I want to remark how grateful I am for a particular employee at this store. I’ve been to DIY on a few occasions and have had the good fortune of being helped by Bob on those occasions. He’s always been incredibly helpful with educating me on what I would need and helping me find those things in the store. I would not be able to finish the projects had it not been for his assistance. The next time I need something from a hardware store, I’ll drive the extra few miles to come to DIY store and hope Bob is there for assistance.

I have been shopping here for a long time. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Buying here reduces my shopping time significantly compared to shopping at other hardware stores. The staff pays attention, understands what I need to do, and helps me buy what I need. I highly recommend them.

Parking was ample but they didn't have the key blank I needed to copy my key, and they didn't carry the Loctite glue I needed. The workers were nice but for me, it was a wasted trip.

i moved to the area, and this quickly became my go-to when first settling into my home- that was 5 years ago, and I was a regular customer for a solid 2.5; however, whilst waiting on someone to meet me there (-my advisor for reference in upcoming projects/plans) i was exhausted from waiting in the heat, and decided to go inside the store to use the restroom, and splash my face with some water- and so thats what i do, but not before admiring halloween decors on display along the route to their restroom. Anyhow, i get there, and just as ive closed the stall door i hear banging on the restrooms door, and idk, i assumed maybe it was a staffer who was tasked with cleaning the womens restroom or something, i hollered, "theres someome in here.." once finished in the stall, i use the sink to wash my hands and splash my face with some cool water before walking back outside to continue waiting, when 4 and theyre telling me to leave and theyre going to call the cops. I asked why, and they just continued repeating, i tried reasoning with them, asking if they would tell me why, offering to be searched, etc. And yet all they continued to say was please leave or well call the police. In hindsight, id wish id clapped back vastly differently as opposed to trying to be reasonable. But that was it, a regular day turned into having felt like id been profiled wrongly. I am still planning to reach out to corporate, because after calling to speak with the "manager" with the basically the only response was " we have a sign that states we reserve the right to refuse service" - understandibly, but shouldnt that have standards also? I called my bff and unleashed my misery unto her, and unforgivably she said, as a blk girl, thats how im made to feel nearly anytime i go somewhere. What in the actual ....?!

Things are way cheaper here and easier to find. Their customer service are good and more open isle spaces. Smaller, sure, but worth the trip.

Never have I ever been so uncomfortable with a shopping experience ever! I went in to get some batteries and packing tape and from the moment I even touched the batteries I had at least 1 if not 2-3 employees continuing to follow me and ask me if I needed anything. It was 7 packs of batteries and these people made it seem like it was unusual to buy 4 packs of double A 4 packs 2 2 packs of 9V and one pack of AAA batteries. Then after I spend $250 here these people can't even acknowledge the fact that I'm a paying customer and say thank you or anything but all stand by the door, like i was gonna make a run for it, and stare me down as I walk out.
That was absolutely the most disrespectful encounter with an entire stores staff I've ever had. Whoever runs this place needs to figure it out get their employees to not treat paying customers like they are gonna do something.
It's pathetic because I actually had liked this place before and have never been treated like that. I have even bought more batteries at one time before and didn't get treated like that. I will be returning everything I bought another day, and not giving them another dollar until they can figure out how to treat a customer with some respect and dignity. Since I'm respectful person I'm going to wait a couple days to calm down from this before going and returning everything because if I go back In there now I won't ne able to hold myself back. Beyond pissed off
