I’ve had an exceptional experience at this DIY rental garage, where you can work on vehicles, motorcycles, ATVs, and more. Their full and half day bay rentals include lifts and tools, with specialty tools available for rental on site—truly a one-stop shop for all your repair needs.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by their amazing customer service and the wealth of knowledge offered by the experienced team—especially Steve and the owner, Dave. They were incredibly patient, taking the time to help me troubleshoot an issue with a bolt that could have easily escalated into a costly repair. Their expert guidance saved me from having to replace an expensive part on my vehicle.

The garage is fully equipped with everything you need; you really only need to bring yourself and your vehicle. Whether you’re tackling repairs, oil changes, tire changes, or other maintenance tasks, they provide all the necessary tools and supplies. Plus, depending on your needs, they offer different lift options—ranging from 4-post and 2-post lifts to specialized lifts for motorcycles, ATVs, and small engines.

I also appreciate their veteran-friendly approach, offering a 10% discount when you book online (refunded in-shop, as stated on their website). After using their services twice in one week, I can confidently say I will continue to rely on this business for all my DIY garage needs. DIY Garage is hands down the best do it yourself shop around!!! For a fair price of $200 (9-5) you get a 2 post lift (or 4 post), any tool imaginable, and if needed for a few extra $$ a hour u can have Steve who is honestly the most genuine guy around help you with what ever task you have in front of you. I replaced my clutch and flywheel here with Steve and Dave (owner) and it was nothing but a joy. Found every tool i needed with ease, and got the job done in record time. Thank you DIY Garage, me and the boys will be back!!!

After finding DIY Garage I may never do another job in my driveway again! My son and I have tackled three big jobs here, and every time I’ve walked away extremely happy I decided to make the trip. Prices are beyond reasonable and you’ve got access to a lift, tools (including specialty tools), and the supplies you need to take on just about anything.

You’ve also got awesome people like Dave and Steve keeping the place running who are there to lend experience, can jump in and help if you get stuck (Steve completely saved my butt on one job!), but most importantly they genuinely want the experience to go smooth and see you be successful in whatever you came in to do.

If you have a big or small job, I really couldn’t recommend DIY Garage more. Give them a try, go have some fun, and you’ll ask yourself why you ever went through the frustration of working on stuff out in the driveway!

DIY Garage is the real deal!

I went in not entirely sure what to expect, but I was blown away by how helpful and well-run this place is. I had a car issue I wanted to fix myself, but I don’t have all the tools or space at home. DIY Garage had everything—from lifts and specialty tools to a super clean workspace. Honestly, it felt like being in a professional shop, but with the freedom to do it yourself.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. They didn’t just point me to a bay and leave me to figure it all out—they actually helped troubleshoot the problem, offered advice, and even guided me through a couple of steps I wasn’t confident about. No pressure, no judgment, just genuinely cool and knowledgeable people who clearly care about cars and their customers.

They made what could have been a frustrating DIY job into something fun and empowering. I walked out not only with a fixed car, but with more confidence for next time.

If you’re into cars and like doing your own repairs but want access to the right tools and some backup support, this is the place. 100% worth it. It's a little over an hour drive from where I live and I have been here for the third time. I’ll definitely be back.

5 stars don't even begin to cover it. I would give 10 stars if I could. This exceptional shop offers all the tools you might need, and even some you probably never will, but they're available just in case. Most importantly, their customer service is by far the best I've experienced, not only in the automotive industry but anywhere. Steven is perhaps one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I've ever met and one of the nicest human beings I've had the pleasure to communicate with. This garage is a gem for any car enthusiast, and they do a great job making you feel welcomed and confident in their support.

Brought my 2022 Corvette in for an exhaust. The facilities were great, they had every tool under the sun, and Steve was absolutely amazing. I beyond recommend this to anyone with a performance or luxury car that wants to get their hands dirty in a controlled environment.

This place is HANDS DOWN the best bang for your buck shop to do your diy work, i did a clutch job for the first time here on my nissan 370z and dave and steve were EXTREMELY helpful through the whole process, i asked if they had specific tools i needed and within a matter of minutes they found me what i needed in the shop, there wasn’t a single tool i needed that they didn’t have. i had issues mounting my transmission back on and dave didn’t hesitate to help me and my friend throw it back on, i will definitely be coming back in the future to save myself the hassle of doing work on jack stands

Very happy that a place like this exists within driving distance of NYC. I can't work on my car at all in my apartment's garage. This place was excellent and I think I can do just about anything here. I had the best possible customer service from Steve. I can't wait until I have another job to do so I can come back.
