I'd like to say thank you to the good people at Detail Solar. From the first call I could tell that they were professional and cared about my needs. Even though I only needed repair work they made me feel like I mattered. Great people great work and great prices. If you need solar work done I highly recommend Detail Solar. I'm a real customer and haven't been paid to say this, they earned it.

I totally recommend Detail Solar, and Paul. Out of 5 installers that can install the sol ark system (given by sol ark) Paul was the only one to answer my phone and get back with me.

I have had two upgrades to my system by detail solar and am completely satisfied. Normally within 2 weeks, a crew is over at my house working on the install.

His guys clean up after themselves, very pleasant to have around. And Kim in the office helps with questions that may arise before the team comes out.

He has done work for friends (3 different people) that I know, who are very satisfied with his work as well

I would not go with anyone else. A Christian company with integrity.

Detail Solar came out to review my request to expand my existing solar system. They were very thorough in analyzing options for expansion at a reasonable price and recommended used panels with micro inverters so I didn’t need to upgrade my existing inverter. Within a week after accepting their very reasonable proposal they came out and expended my system by adding a row of 300 watt panels in a few hours and it’s been running great! Their technical knowledge, friendliness, and attempt to give me a cost effective alternative was very professional and I will certainly recommend them and call upon them for my future needs. The bottom row shown on my roof are the ones they added.

After several months of trying to get our solar energy company to fix our system I found Detail Solar! Response was immediate. Technicians were personable, responsive, knowledgeable and professional. They worked with the manufacturer to obtain a new inverter and installed in a timely manner. An amazingly positive experience !! I am grateful we were able to find this company and plan to use them for all future solar energy needs in the future.

Detail Solar came out and discovered my inverter was bad. They ordered and replaced my inverter under warranty (I paid about $1,100 for service call and labor).

Service call went well, very professional.

But the inverter only lasted a few weeks and is out again. I cannot get in touch with Detail Solar (called, left messages, texted, used message on their website...no response). I sent the system error message to Detail Solar. No response.

The system worked well for a few weeks. I do not know if they missed something or if the inverter they installed was faulty (which would not be their fault, it happens).

In the end I am paying for Solar panels that don't work, paid Detail Solar for work that didn't help, and am paying my full power bill.

I believe Detail Solar will stand by their work, but I cannot contact them. I plan to drive to their office when I am off work if necessary, but it is unfortunate that this is the only means of communication (it's a 2 hour drive).

I'll update this review as the process continues. I know many, like me, read reviews when choosing a company and I want to provide honest feedback.

I cannot recommend at this time because I do not know Detail Solar will stand by their work.

We were orphaned by our original installer. Our system went down and was not working. Our electric bill skyrocketed for at least four or five months. We tried so hard to get our installer to come and take care of a diagnostic and see what is wrong with it. We were under a 25 to 30 year warranty and only had our system for four years. I called Detail Solar and they came to the rescue. They are awesome people and have experience with all types of solar systems. Jonathan found that my inverter was bad and that my Wi-Fi was only a 3G set up to towers. They took us under their wings and became our installer. They had our system up and running in a very quick time. The only cost to us was the diagnostic and getting a new updated Wi-Fi system where we can monitor our system through the phone application. Kim Shaw and Jonathan are the best. Jonathan Let me know exactly what was going on at all times. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in what he’s doing. I trust these people to serve us with the best care. We are forever with them and depend on them to service us we needed.

Great solar company to work with. Needed my panels removed and reinstalled due to needing roof replaced they where awesome to work with. Paul answered all my questions in a timely manner and worked with me to get panels down so roofer could replace roof and was very quick to get panels back up and working so I didn't lose a lot of down time. Great to work with!!!!!

After years of disappointing results from other solar companies, these guys were a dream come true. Our system was up and running in no time, and the performance has been superb. Add that they are about the nicest, most helpful people you’d ever want to meet, and we will never look for another solar company again.
