Not all solar companies are created equal! I'm a big advocate of eco-friendly and efficient products and Dept. of Green Energy has more products than all of South Florida Solar companies put together!
Sure they have great panels for your home but once meeting some their amazing and knowledgeable stafff, I quickly realized they far exceeded my expectation! Not only did they have everything I was looking for, but they also had many eco-efficent products I hadn't even heard of! There company really is setting the bar and is the way of the future!

I came across the Department of Green Energy as I was searching for solar panels online. The next morning I received a phone call from Bryan, and from there we set up an appointment to discuss my solar energy options.

Bryan was very polite, professional, and down-to-earth. I really felt like I knew exactly what I was getting, as he explained everything. Bryan was able to answer ALL of my questions, which was very helpful. I immediately realized the NUMEROUS BENEFITS that this company offers. First of all, switching to solar energy is great for the environment, but with the Department of Green Energy, you do not have to spend a fortune. In fact, it increases the value of your home immediately, and you are actually able to virtually eliminate your entire electric bill, and save more money. And the list goes on...

After I learned all about the program, I was really impressed (not only by what the company offers, but by the customer service too). After I made my decision that day, I even received a follow-up phone call by the owner to discuss any further questions I may have.
After my 55 years of experience, I have learned to trust my feelings, and I feel good about this. The Department of Green Energy is a company that truly wants to help people and the Earth.
After everything is completed at my house, I will write a follow-up review. I am sure I will be more than satisfied.

We have been interested in solar for a long time but always thought it was way too expensive. We had someone from Department of Green Energy come out and they taught us everything we need to know. It was a pleasure dealing with the knowledgeable and friendly people at DOGE. We learned we can go solar no money down, and the best part, monthly payment is less than our FPL bill! Todd was the representative who worked with us. He was extremely helpful with all phases of the installation. Highly recommended.

Dept of green energy came to give us an estimate yesterday. Very nice and educated in their field, the lady who came over (Mairim) was very informative and detailed oriented. Didn’t feel pressure or bullied into buying, I just feel much more informed for future purchase. She even had me speak to the owner over the phone who was also very kind and informative. Great Customer Service!!!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank Bryan Turner and Tony Z. at Green Energy, as I recently signed a deal for new Solar Panels for my home. Like most people I had become frustrated with FPL and wanted something new if possible. As one might expect I was very skeptical at first until this new Government backed plan was explained to me. Not wanting to rush in I took sometime to research I met with Bryan a second time and he and the people at GE went above and beyond to try and succeeded in accommodating me and got me to a place where I was financially comfortable. I’m African American and I’ve seen people like myself be taken advantage of due to ignorance. My system hasn’t been installed yet, but I can’t say enough of how great GW was in working with my wife and I, Bryan was very honest and up front. The truth is with the right price this system sells itself, you are no longer beholden to the power companies like FPL. Once the system is paid off you virtually have an almost non-existent electric bill. The point is if you have to pay FPL for the rest of your life without solar why not pay for something that you will own and a lower cost and eventually get to a point where you are producing your own electricity at no cost to you, to me it was a “No Brainer”
I highly recommend solar power and Green Energy because their products are top of the line with a great warranty and they also provide you with (3) energy efficient upgrades included in the cost, in addition there are no out of pocket up front cost via this program and you get tax credit. They are courteous and professional, and I am happy thus far and can’t wait to get my new system installed.

To say that dealing with this company was a nightmare is an understatement! They took 1 1/2 years to complete a simple job of installing hurricane Windows and installing hurricane doors & solar panels. The Windows were measured wrong and living room window was too small, they uséd a hammer to force the windows in the openings, leaving bends and gouges in my expensive windows. They installed the doors uneven so I had to get a contractor to take them out and put them back correct. They painted over custom door hardware, they installed the panels incorrect and caused roof leaks which after 3 failed attempts to fix the leaks, I finally hired a roofer who fixed the leaks in one visit. I had to get the Mayor of Oakland Park involved to help me! I'm not a picky person but this was ridiculous! They are very good salesmen but that's it! I worked in sakes mist of my adult life and am the first oerson to complement a job well done, letting people know about my positive experience. I don't send negative reviews. This is a first for me and hopefully the last. I feel that they should either be shut down or they need to hire subcontractors who know their trade. I've been told that I can sell ice to an Eskimo but if I don't know how to make the ice, what good am I? Buyer beware!!!
