I contracted with Alex DeFreitas of DeFreitas Enterprises to install roof mounted solar panels along with a battery backup/storage system in 2021. I was pleased with the design, equipment chosen, and installation. Alex also suggested where I could get financing. He took care of everything up through installation and system startup. After the system was installed and he was paid there was a wiring issue. It took constant badgering over the period of a couple of months to get him to resolve the issue. After the system had been operational for 10 months an issue developed with one of the batteries. A replacement was sent out by the manufacturer. I’ve been contacting Alex repeatedly for over two months to get the battery replaced with virtually no response. Customer service after system installation is non-existent. Spending nearly $70k and getting no customer service is inexcusable.

Alex is very professional and provides exceptional service. He walks you through every step of the process and is very approachable. Defreitas Enterprise's is the rare company I feel compelled to leave a review for. Removed a tree safely with some additional experiences we all benefited from. If you're questioning the Enterprise's merits I will say they are improving the universe.
