I recently had Day Energy come out to quote me on putting insulation in my garage. I had told Ahren (I hope I’m spelling his name properly) that our specs say it was insulated, but another company came out and told us it wasn’t. He asked how they tested it and I told him they knocked on the walls. To be safe, he took a panel off and showed me that it was indeed insulated. He saved me between $1900-$2500. I was so impressed by his honesty, especially when the other company had been dishonest. He also took the time to go over various options to keep moisture down in the garage. I was extremely impressed and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our house was built in 1956 and still has most of the original windows so it was very drafty and impossible to keep warm and cozy no matter how high we set the furnace. Since the insulation project the house is so much warmer even with keeping the thermostat set at 63 vs 71 before the project. Definitely worth the investment.

I called Day Energy Solutions, and Ahren came out immediately and gave me a bid for insulation in my attic floor. The price was very reasonable, and we were scheduled right away! The workers were very professional, courteous, polite, and very hard working. I then got a second bid from them to do all four of my walls in my house because we bought a 105-year old home that had no insulation. Again, the price was very reasonable and Ahren even called me earlier than expected because time in their schedule had opened up and they were able to come out the very next day. Melinda at the office was very polite, easy to get a hold of, and a joy to speak with. I would recommend them to anyone, they are the best company I have ever worked with. Very, very pleased! The house is so much warmer!

I would highly recommend Ahren and his Day Energy crew. Ahren came and listened to my mom’s concerns regarding her ducting and insulation in his inspection. Ahren gave us detailed information on what he recommended and how mom could benefit from energy rebates from the State of Oregon to help mom with her ending bill.

The day of service Ahren showed up with his crew. He explained to the crew exactly what we had discussed and needed to be completed so there were no problems. Even though the crew needed to add a vent that wasn’t in the original bid and did not increase the completed price. He promised work would be done correctly. Crew was very friendly and cleaned up all of their minor droppings.

Again I would highly recommend Ahren and his team!!

When Ahren came to look things over to do a quote I asked about additional things to help keep the house cool and he wasn’t pushy at all to get them done which was appreciative. The guys who came to blow the insulation were nice and professional.
