We had our shingle roof replaced and at the same time also swapped our old solar system out for a new one, including batteries. Ken (Sales), Mary (office), Ashley (office) and Eddy (foreman) were all extremely easy to work with, they took care of us and pride in their work and they are knowledgeable and nice. Our entire project, which consisted of de-installation of old solar, rip out old roof, install new roof and install new solar and batteries, was installed in 8 working days. They finish parts of the roof where solar goes on first, so the Solar crew can come in and work while the roofers finish up - it’s great and there is no finger pointing because it is one team. Their crew cares and they do a very fine job.
What is out of their hands is the SDGE part (one simple installation and one inspection), which will take longer than the Cosmic installation in itself, but that is not Cosmic’s fault and you’ll experience that with any installer. Just a heads-up that SDGE still sucks, despite their outrageous prices.

Anyway, I could not recommend Cosmic more emphatically to anybody - we are extremely happy with their service, please work with them. They do things right!

I had an excellent experience with Cosmic Solar and Roofing for both solar installation and roofing services. They did an entire roof replacement and Solar system with two Tesla batteries. From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Eddie and his roofing crew did a fantastic job on my roof, making sure everything was secure and looking great. Pey and Johnny did an outstanding job installing the solar. The installation was smooth, and I appreciated how they explained the process.

Ken, from sales, was my contact person and he made sure I understood all my options, and I felt confident in the decisions I made. Every time I called the office, there was always someone there who answered the phone to answer any questions I had. I am very happy we decided on Cosmic Solar. We went with full roof replacement and solar installation with powerwalls. From start to finish, every interaction that we had with the staff, rep, and techs from Cosmic Solar were very positive.

We had gotten estimates from 5 different licensed roofing and solar companies. Pricing wise, Cosmic Solar was very competitive, with only one other company with a better price. We had considered other factors as well, such as roof warranty (okay), can we trust their roof warranty because some companies may guarantee 20 yrs but go out of business before that warranty period ends (very much can trust), solar warranty (similar to other companies), reviews (great!), etc. Ultimately, we went with Cosmic Solar because of Ken. Ken is the rep we spoke with from Cosmic Solar. He was very honest and upfront about our current energy needs and the system size we would need. He did not try to upsell us on a bigger system which already lets you know he is not just out for money but that he is looking out for us as customers too. In addition, he patiently answered our numerous questions. And with us being new to solar and roofing, we had MANY questions.

Once we signed with Cosmic Solar, everyone else we intereacted with were also just as wonderful. Ashley (updated us on inspections, permits, and start dates), Mary (office manager), and Pey (project manager) were so patient with our questions and last minute changes. Eddie (foreman) and Tony (both replaced the roof), and solar techs CJ, Hector, and Javier were all very professional and understanding of my barking dogs and their potty schedule. They also were very patient with my questions and with walking me through everything.

Lastly, I appreciate how quickly (like within minutes) Mary emailed me the receipt of payment. I would highly recommend Cosmic Solar to anyone looking for roof replacement or solar installation and plan on referring them to all my friends and family who need one.

Cosmic Solar is an A+/5 star company! We did our homework, decided on Cosmic, and they really delivered. They listened, had knowledgeable advice, dug right in and did a great job! We wanted a complex system, all Enphase, with the fairly new IQ car chargers, and they were up to the challenge. We had our Ground mount solar panels & dual batteries installed back in December through Cosmic Solar. From conception to completion the whole team was great to work with. (Thank you Ken, Ashley, Mary & Khi) Like any responsible homeowner we did our due diligence and looked at other vendors & getting quotes. We chose cosmic for their knowledge of city ordinances & regulations, and the fact that they have done ground mounted solar. Every other vendor told us things needed to be changed or, something needs to be moved, but not them. Because this team works so effectively with the city that was not the case and sure enough everything is permitted and passed both local and SDG&E inspections.
The installation team was great & respectful to our property. They did not begin to dig or make any cuts without our approval. We were involved from the first hole being dug to them turning the system on.
I highly recommend Cosmic Solar for your solar project, you will not be disappointed.
