Gabe & Hiram were amazing!! They moved items from my space in Providence to a new build in South County and couldn't have been more professional, fast, or careful with loading & unloading everything. I was so impressed with how focussed they were on completing the job quickly and efficiently. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. And Diana was such a pleasure to work with throughout the Quote & Scheduling process. Her attention to detail was impeccable. She answered all of my questions and made the entire booking of the move so easy. The use of Text Message to communicate was also really helpful & convenient. A great experience from the very first enquiry to the end of the delivery. Every person in the office, starting with Diana, who with us all the way, was so kind and helpful and knew what was up with our move. We were kept informed of options and pricing and of all our arrival times. Yael and Gabriel were awesome. They were so careful with everything and thought through handling all our random storage items. They were also just super nice and fun to work with. If we ever move the whole house out of state we told them we want them back! On the delivery, Edwin and Roy were great as well and were so patient about where all the different things went. When an older piece of furniture ended up with a broken foot (likely due to its size and wood dryness and old nails and glue, Roy worked diligently to repair it and Edwin was able to get this huge thing in the air and set it gently on its repaired feet! I would happily and heartily recommend Correira Bros., and would definitely call them again. Thank you all. Kate and Charlie

If I could give 0 stars I would. Do NOT use this company. They are scammers through and through. All they do is lie every step of the way.

For starters they charged 30-40% more than we were quoted. Our stuff was supposed to be delivered on a Sunday but "their elevator broke" and gave no notice on when it would actually come. It ended up coming 2 days later. We found out that same morning and had to call out of work because of this. But that's nothing compared to the rest of the experience.

When the truck arrived their workers were appalled at how poorly everything was wrapped. If you can even call it wrapping. There were holes throughout. Our stuff was BADLY damaged. They destroyed our couch (mud and dirt all over it). They destroyed our rug (mud and dirt all over it) They destroyed my daughter's crib . They destroyed my mattress and more. Thousands of dollars in damage and they offered us $200. Beyond insulting. The movers who came that day told us don't worry they will get it cleaned they send Stanley Steamer out. That was another lie. They don't do ANYTHING about their own mistakes. Claims department says thats only on a case by case basis. I guess when you pay them Extra for a mattress cover / couch and they don't wrap it correctly leading it to get ruined and it gets damaged that doesn't qualify. "Case by case". Worst Customer service on the planet.

How this company has 4.6 stars is mind boggling. Can only imagine how many fake 5 star reviews they pumped in themselves.

They should be ashamed of the way they conduct business. I have never left a bad review in my life. But I have never seen a company scam customers to this extent. It is my hope that anyone looking to use this company will see this and stay clear. The absolute worst of the worst!!!

I appreciate the effort they made to make things right and wanted to acknowledge that here. I recently hired this moving company, and I must say I am extremely disappointed with the service. Here's why:

1. Lack of Communication: This moving company gives you a 4 hour window of when the movers will show up. This can be challenging when trying to plan. Two hours into the arrival window, I called the company for a possible ETA. The company told me they would radio the movers to ask and call me back. They never called me back. I was also promised a 30-minute heads-up before the movers arrived, but they only gave me 5 minutes' notice. This last-minute notification caused unnecessary stress on an already busy day.

2. Damaged Items: During the move, the movers dropped several of my belongings, resulting in chipped paint and damage to a few items. I expected much more care to be taken, especially for the price.

3. Poor Handling of Furniture: To make matters worse, the movers dragged furniture across hardwood floors at both the old and new locations, causing potential damage to both the furniture and the floors. Proper lifting techniques were clearly not a priority.

4. Lack of Awareness: They weren’t mindful of their surroundings, and as a result, they caused damage to the walls, chipping off paint in several places. This was completely avoidable with a little more care and attention.

5. Unprofessional Behavior: The movers took multiple smoke breaks, which was especially frustrating because of allergies to smoke in the home.

6. Overcharging for Travel Time: I moved only 3 miles, yet I was charged an hour of travel time, amounting to over $200. This charge was not explained adequately, and I felt it was an unfair addition to the overall bill.

7. Unfriendly and Inconvenienced Attitude + Payment Issues: The movers seemed inconvenienced by the job from the start and had a very unprofessional attitude throughout the entire process. It felt like I was bothering them instead of receiving customer service. To add to the frustration, the company’s website states that alternative payment methods are accepted to avoid hefty card fees. However, when it came time to pay, I was told I could only use a card, which resulted in an additional $50 fee tacked onto my bill.

Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company based on the lack of care, poor attitude, and unprofessional behavior.

This is the second time I have used Correira Brothers and I again had a great experience. I did a local move within Providence last year, used a storage unit since then and most recently an interstate move. They always have fair pricing and excellent communication.
