Not sure how my electric jumped from $100 a month the ENTIRE year to $600 for the month of August. We NEVER touch our thermostat and it’s a single household with only 2 adults. What gives?

Dear Fellow Contractors, If Colton Power asks you to come out to do any Service for them. I would highly advise declining. We completed thousands of dollars of HVAC repairs for them and 6 months and dozens of phone calls, letters, emails later we still haven't been paid. We are a small family business and we operate here in Colton. I hope other businesses read this before they complete services for this Utility. Likely, you will be given a million excuses, given the runaround, and won't be compensated for your approved work. Good luck operating in this crazy world, I hope this saves someone in the future some money, effort and headaches.

they deserve zero stars. I wish we had a chance to choose another provider. They are extremely over price. I hate it. oh and if you call no one answers your calls. I left a message and when someone finally called me back, she told me she couldn't help me so she ended up transfering me to the same number i dialed in the first place.

Absolutely horrible!!! The agents are very, very rude and try to undermine your intelligence. They charge outrageous fees and when you ask them for a payment extension they only give you an additional two weeks. Although, you just called to get a payment extension, they put this huge pink door tag on the front of your door for everyone in your neighborhood to see that you may get disconnected.🤔

This firm is the worst electric company!! They can not handle services for ONE city. How is it that Edison brought power back on for there consumers/ clients & or customers & your crew has not brought power back after 10 hours.!! This is unacceptable!! Its 110 degrees. YOU'RE ELECTRIC COMPANY OBVIOUSLY CAN NOT HANDLE TO PROVIDE ELECTRICITY TO ONE CITY!! get it together!! Give us a choice to choose another electric provider!!!!

I wish we had a choice in utility companies. This is an absolute joke. If you try to call , it will say "All of the lines are busy, try again later" and it hangs up on you with no option to hold or leave a message. I used to be able to pay my bill online but I cant anymore because they changed the payment system, yet again. Thank god for the 24 hour kiosk because their hours suck. You raise our rates every year, forcing us to pay thousands of dollars for this horrible service. Something needs to change.

Honestly, one star is hella generous and hella pushing it. They never send out any regular bill to my apartment. The only bill I receive is a late bill, and that’s SOMETIMES. When you call them, be prepared to be on hold for about 40 mind to an hour. Then when they answer they act like they can’t handle a simple situation. And please don’t tell them that you haven’t got a late bill because they will sit here and argue with you saying “well we sent two out.” That is sooooo funny because if you sent two out then I should have at least received one. And if your bill is outrageously high, they cannot even explain to you why it’s so high!!!! Like, you mean to tell me, my little apartment is working up $287 worth of electricity!!!?!! And I’m barely even home because I always work!!!! Poor service, horrible workers, and all around just terrible company. Colton utilities cannot handle one freaking city!!!! We need Edison out here. I literally don’t wanna move to another apartment out here in Colton because of Colton utilities. Ridiculous....
