Almost everytime it rains the power goes out. Even with small regular thunderstorms.. it's ridiculous. I have had less power outages during hurricanes with other companies than I have had with colquitt during regular rain storms. Everything else is fine. Their customer service is good, pricing is fine but goodness these power outages for no reason are super annoying.

Would be great if they could give a realistic time frame for repair. Day 7 with no power and no answers. Everyday someone has asked the president if this company for a realistic update, areas that are being worked on etc. No answer given. Just the same generic message for 7 days.

If you have any other choice for a power company go with that. GA power customers in our area have had power restored for several days.

Negative 1 stars, How is it that I spend 8 days without power last week. And now my power has been out since 10:40pm last night and it’s still out. This is unacceptable and not ok for the power to still be out for this length of time after having it restored. I am so upset now it’s not even funny. And I bet when I finally get to call them in the morning they aren’t going to have any reasoning why the power was out or any update to when my power will be back. These people at colquitt emc have proven they don’t care if you don’t have power and that they will take their sweet time to restore it.

Trash. Stay away. 5 days plus with no power and zero real updates on Hahira. Nothing but excuses after every storm. While Georgia Power gives customers real updates I get the run around from these crooks. I can’t cancel the service either because they are the only ones in my area. I hope HOA steps up. My next home i will ask who the provider is and if it is Colquitt I wont purchase.

Power has been off for about 7 or 8 days now, it’s been so long I can’t remember. GA power came in and efficiently restored power to their consumers. Colquitt on the other hand is only giving bland responses with no reasonable time frames/updates. We have elderly people in the neighborhood who need power and it seems as if colquitt couldn’t care less.

Response time is garbage.
Lazy company who depends on out of state contractors or Georgia Power to fix their chicken wire lines!

If buying or renting in Lownde,Berrien county, make sure it's Georgia Power for electricity.

This company is just a whole middle man for electricity. You literally use a bigger companies resources and market it as your own and then can’t fix it when push comes to shove. Now we have no power for maybe a week and probably will still be charged for it…

In your statement about Helene you stated that an unforeseen problem was not having cell service to communicate within the company. Why don’t you use rm radios? That would bypass any issues that have to do with power. Joke.

Then you have power lines that trees just sit on top of and then you rebuild them and never do anything about the trees next to them so that we don’t have the problem again… ugh yall make my head hurt.
