Lord jesus when are we going to have power restored? They say they have 95% of the people they contracted here for the hurricane aftermath to help restore power. They need to stop working on areas where you got to cut 100 trees down before you fix it and get to the easier spots first. And they aren’t even answering the dang phone at afterhours. I am growing increasingly angry every hour I have to wait for the dang power. I feel like my body is melting into itself it’s so hot and miserable. Why is that more people have lost power now as opposed to last night. why are they working in only one area at a time. They need to come to Valdosta and get to work and stop horsing around. I’m bout to lose my mind these people get negative 5 stars. Get the power restored soon please for the love of god. It’s been almost 29 hours without power now. There’s some people who have health issues who truly can not continue to be without power.

7 days without power. The president of this company refuses to give any sort of timeline for restoration. Check who provides your power prior to moving. Try to go with GA power. They are very transparent with repairs and seem to always have their customers up and going a lot sooner than Colquitt emc.

Sitting here in the dark. Everyone around me has power. I completely understand the hurricane did massive damage but when you get the power back up you should verify everyone in the area is on. My lights are out due to a disconnected rod to the transformer going only to my house. Instead of checking to see if the entire line was active they just left. Now when the feel like coming back it will take them 5 minutes to have my power on. They definitely don’t understand cost effectiveness. But 5 days later and 2 days later after everyone else power were reconnected. I am still in the dark. Hopefully before next week they have someone available to correct the 5 minutes fix. So the president daily updates are garbage. I have called, never to speak to a real person. I have emailed, No results. I have reported it since it happened last Wednesday. Now they show it was reported today. Not a happy customer.

They never clear trees on the lines, power flickers every time a storm comes and blows the trees in the right of way, when power does go out they service select areas first. Since their service gets progressively worse and utility maintenance and management seems to be failing, I’ve decided to start logging here each time my power goes out. May 31st. July 8th. July 10th. September 22 on a perfectly clear night, October 30 on another clear 70 degree night and we’ve lost power to 6 small surges and one 5 minute outage we might as well move to South Africa at this point . November 26 wet day, but no wind, power keeps flashing causing all appliances to reset, this can’t be good, entire neighborhood is affected. Maybe they should bring the MDR crews back that were actually helpful after the hurricane. December 2, once again out for no apparent reason. 1/20/25, middle of a sunny afternoon. Nice to know that we didn’t even get an opportunity to vote this year, as they only had one nomination for the Valdosta area, they handle the nominations.

Limbs and tree parts dropped everywhere when power line clean up happened..we are still cleaning but the mess 3 weeks later..fence lines hit.. overall disrespect to property.

The power goes out at least twice a week for several hours at a time. It's to the point it's uncalled for. They will literally hang up on you before they'll tell you an estimated time before it comes back on.

Not to happy they new school started today and here we were doing the homeschool thing and boom out of power with out a warning when they new they were going to be doing work.. like really thanks but no thanks... Could of showed some respect and let people no or waited till later after lunch. For first day school
