We've had an amazing experience with Clean Solar. And the only reason I haven't posted a photo is that the install was so good, you can barely see our solar panels! (big thanks to the Zeus crew for the amazing install).

I'd like to give a particular shout out for Tim Littlefield, who's so knowledgeable and personable and helped me select all the right equipment for my home. Juan and team also did a great job on my most recent project of installing the solar batteries, going above and beyond to minimize the visual appearance of the various cables and boxes required to set up the system to comply with all the right local and PG&E rules.

We interview 6 companies and chose Clean Solar because they were willing to install critter guard and extra outlets w/o using a third party. Glad we did. Installers were very professional & they returned to fix some minor issues w/o fuss. Got a call from Charlie a couple of weeks afterwards. He just wanted to ask if we were happy with the installation & if we had any questions. That’s great service especially since the check already cleared.
Just a note. One contractor we rejected promoted a low interest rate if we finance. Somewhere buried in the middle of the contract is a sentence that there’s an additional fee if we do so…for approx $9k more. Glad I read it carefully.

Their price was extremely fair and they got a 22-panel + battery install done within a couple of days with no hassle. We were interested in installing solar to control the cost of our electric bill and realized we needed a new roof also, so we called Randy to kill two birds with one stone! Our goal was to outfit a system that would meet all of our home electricity needs plus our electric car. The solar system has been perfect and it's exciting that we have taken the power back from PG&E! The roofing installation team was also fantastic and did a quick and professional job. The coordination between the roofing and solar teams was nice because one rolled into the other and avoided any delays.

Extremely happy with the quality of the work, the clear and frequent communication with our project manager (Denise), and the technically savvy staff all around. They are happy to go into tech details about the system, the electrical flows, the monitoring, etc.

It was a non-trivial install as we had old-old panels from a different installer (2008), old panels from a previous CleanSolar install, and old powerwalls from Tesla. The CleanSolar engineers designed the addition of new panels and new powerwalls in a way that resulted in a very clean and elegant system that produces the expected energy. It's fully integrated in the Tesla app and provide a full house backup system.

We installed a new roof, solar panels and a Powerwall this September. We have been very pleased with Clean Solar in system design, installation and support. We are in an HOA too. They made approval from the HOA, the city and PG&E smooth and simple. The backup feature of the system already worked to give us power during a 6 hour power outage in October too. We also like the fact that Clean Solar is a Certified B Corporation and has made a charity donation to Second Harvest after our project.
