I’ve been using them since we moved to Georgia in 2022. The customer service has always been very lax. One time I went in to pay with cash with my service dog(who is trained to protect me). And they let their dog loose which caused my service dog to key and cause a good amount of Chaos and stress on my part, and all the receptionist said was “Oh he just wants to play”

I called Monday and ordered propane and it’s now Wednesday. I called this morning and pretty much got “ he’ll get there when he gets there”.

As soon as I’m able I’ll be switching companies to one that shows a little more professionalism

They run a good operation and have friendly, helpful staff. Their prices are lower than average for area propane tank refills. When I upgraded to my new 100 pound tank, I was lacking the right adapter to make it work with my RV. I called back expecting to have to purchase one, but instead a staff member provided me with the adapter that I would have otherwise needed to pay for. I use a lot of propane and will definitely be using Claxton Oil Company as my go-to, and will recommend them to my friends.

i contacted Claxton Oil after getting a quote from our local gas/fuel supplier. Claxton Oil’s tank rental price was half of our local company and their customer service was amazing. They came out to install our tank and check our gas logs. The installer’s name was Tyler and he was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend Claxton Oil for all of your gas/fuel needs.

Absolutely awesome service! Went well out of their way to be sure I had what I needed in a timely manor. Luckily for me they're right down the road. They had fuel I've been looking for everywhere. So if it's a specific high octane VP fuel that you're after, I'd bet money they have it.

Very rude staff. The owners son Phillip hung up on me on the phone when I asked to speak with owner . All I simply wanted to know was how 2.8 gallons of propane costs $19.00. Way to expensive. $6.78 per gallon on propane . Everywhere else charges about $2.99 per gallon . My company has been buying propane off this company for 2 plus years . I am very disappointed in them .
