I've been taking lessons from Chris for about a year now, first in person and then online after I moved out of the area. Chris has been great. At first I was skeptical of doing online lessons but after trying them I found I was still able to make really good progress. Chris is an excellent musician and teacher and I especially appreciate the positive and encouraging energy that he brings to every lesson. For those able to take in-person lessons: the studio is awesome and there is a nice, comfortable waiting area.

Chris has been a great teacher for my 11 year old son, who has been taking lessons for almost a year now. He’s engaging, patient, and teaches a combination of fundamentals and “fun” music that my kid gets to pick. His studio is amazing and my kid especially likes the opportunity to do drum recordings there. Lesson policies are flexible and make up video options are nice to have for illnesses. Highly recommend lessons with Chris!

Chris is amazing! It's so difficult to find a drum teacher that's talented and teaches well, but he's phenomenal at both! I'm an adult student just starting out and really value the patience and positive energy he brings to every session.

At first I was wary to learn drums online, but his setup accommodates multiple camera angles, real time notation scrolling, and even outside links to show various drum techniques in action. With all of the learning tools and features he uses for online sessions, I now prefer them over in-person lessons! However, when I do take lessons at his studio, it's still incredible. He has multiple drum sets so you can play side by side with him and uses cutting edge technology to assist in the learning process.

If you're thinking about taking drum lessons, you won't regret choosing Chris!

Chris is a fantastic instructor. My daughter started drum lessons with Chris with zero musical / instrumental background. She also has a disability that impacts her hands and feet. Together, Chris and my daughter worked out methods for her to learn and play drums despite not being able to raise her foot and with profound hand weakness. It's been a wonderful and empowering experience.
