This is an evil, predatory operation. CHME sent a mobility-impaired friend of mine to collections for owing $175 on a $1700 wheelchair. That’s evil to begin with. When I heard about it, I paid the $175 to the collection agency myself, though the friend had not asked for help. 25 days after I sent the check, CHME is still harassing the victim for the money that I paid.

They're communication is extremely bad. I can never get a call back and no one ever know nothing. I'll talk to customer service and they would tell me someone will call me back. It never happens.

I have rented a medical bed for a month before my mom enrolled into local state insurance. It was almost end of the month. They suppose to submit all paper work into insurance company in order to pay for next month ... they simply forgot about me and my insurance. Just by incident I decided to call and check if everything is fine. They was about to charge my credit card for another month rent.

Decided to return that bed and rent from a different company that more careful about customer's needs. Extremally negative experience!

I usually don't write reviews. I've been having to deal with them for the past 3 + years. This company is just beyond terrible and I really wish my insurance company would change the contract to another supplier. They don't do autoship like everyone else does. they never reply to emails. they sometimes pick up the phone. really, sometimes. don't count on it. they supply medical supplies on which people's lives depend upon, and they are not responsive, orders always go missing, and we're just left to do without these essential medical supplies. wish there was a negative star option. but again, what does it matter? We're stuck with them.

My HMO forced CHME upon me as a durable medical product provider for over 10 years. CHME is a total nightmare to deal with. They essentially have multiple ways they deny service to cut their costs in order to squeeze every penny from the equipment provider contracts they have with the HMO's. For example, my HMO pays CHME monthly fee and CHME is supposed to regularly ship me replacement CPAP masks and filters. If you want a simple CPAP filter, CHME makes you wait 1+ hours on hold after finding way through maze of nightmare customer service menu. In rare chance you actually reach a live person they will then take 2-3 weeks to mail you ONE single CPAP filter through snail mail, and often they send NOTHING. So you have to repeat that weekly if you want to replace your CPAP filter regularly. If you need a new mask, that's even worse nightmare. The typical CHME durable equipment rental agreement (sent to patient upon HMO approval) requires: 1) You sign to be financially responsible for an unstated rental cost through the unstated length of an equipment rental agreement; 2) if the equipment breaks down you are responsible to pay for it at cost CHME chooses; 3) you give CHME rights to share your entire medical history with any 3rd part CHME wants to sell it to. 4) Typically, a CHME contract includes invoices of hundreds of dollars misc costs without stating who must pay for it. Who in their right mind would sign such contracts?

I called their customer support line 4 times hoping to get my medical equipment. At all 4 times, my calls were directed to voice mail right after I became the “customer #1 in the queue”. I left several messages, but no one ever got back. Had my medical group make a three way call to resolve this issue, they also got cut off as I did. After a week of trying, I still have no clue how to get my equipment. This company is unreachable.

This place's service should have a minus (-) rating. They just can't get anything right. The manager by the name of "Mike" is a heartless guy, never cares about customer, always grumpy, always treat you like his enemy. I have so many problems with him to get my 92yo mother incontinence supplies. He kept blaming on her doctor office not sending him enough documents, although the doctor faxed all the needed document multiple times (4 times!). I was standing at doctor's fax machine 1 of those times to witness everything went through. He still complained and delayed shipments for 3 months! Now that all the doctor documents completed, every month I called for refills, the shipments either got delayed so late, or "oh, we never receive your call", "who took your order, do you know that person's name?", "we don't have anything on record", "we have to send your order to quality assurance for approval, it'll take 2 to 4 weeks"..etc.. blah blah. I'm not sure why these people treat customers this way. We always are victims, instead of patients..

Where do I start. My wife is one of the most frustrated customers. She has tried to call multiple times to place her order with your company and got nothing and when I mean nothing, I mean nothing. No person that answered the phone, no person to take her order no person period. So, she decided to go to Foster City and speak with someone personally, even though she just had major surgery the day before. Only to find a bunch of incompetent, lazy, and rude employees that she has ever came across in her life time. After 3 more visits and almost 5 months later CHME sent her 1 chamber, 1 hose and 1 nasal pillow to last her the rest of her life. Give me a break. Pathetic!! Does CHME really want to do business I think not.
