The energy service i was loyal to for over 40 years continued to treat me as a disloyal customer by continually raising my rates monthly and never giving me a better deal. Just before I chose to change services i called and asked if there was a possibility they could make a better deal and they response i got was "no, but I see your rate is going to increase by another point ". I was done. Aaron whom was my service agent was so respectful and helpful though the process of change, I didn't not have ONE anxious feeling to change at all.
Thank you Aaron and thank you Champion energy.

Increase of 20% from my last contract. At least that’s what I’m guessing as all of the information is intentionally written to be misleading with 3 different prices listed for the same plan on the website and the final contract having a different, higher price, but with caveats claiming the price could change at any time. (We ALL know that won’t be a lower price. )
It must be nice to demand a 20% raise year to year for a commodity people must have while your customers mostly get no raises at all.
Then to add insult to injury, have no clear pricing anywhere on your site or contracts.
Theives.

I just signed up for this service so I cannot adequately rate them. However, the signed-up process was seamless. Representative was profession and very knowledgeable of the service. I was satisfied and will give a rating of four at this time. After a few months would gladly like to revisit and update rating.

I've been with this electric company for a while now. The one time I need help and I asked for an extension. They refused to do it and said I would need to call back after I received my disconnect notice. Then to be eligible I would need to pay at least 50 percent of my bill. This company should be ashamed. A lot of people are going through rough times and a few extra days to be able to pay my bill isn't too much to ask for.

I’ve used Champion Energy for a little while now. Great Service, and has always been low/reasonably priced. Have no complaints with them at all. I am really grateful to have them because my last energy company would have sporadic pricing on the bills... with some hidden fees and stuff. Luckily, I can honestly say that Champion Energy has done none of that. If you’re looking to get it—here’s my code for $50 off your bill: AWAZIR001. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with this company.

I think champion energy has the simplest and cheapest flat rate 12 or 24 month plan. I had their 12 month flat rate service and just renewed for 24 months. I was reading their negative reviews. Someone had the power cut off because wrong credit card was on file. And whose fault is that? Someone had to pay a deposit or no service because this person had no history of paying utilities (but the husband did). I was in the same boat. I signed up with my husband's name although I pay the bills just to avoid the deposit. Someone had to pay termination fee because of moving to another area. Ummm. That's unfortunate. Someone claiming being charged while the power was out. I don't think so. You are being charged per energy consumed. I get charged 10 cents per killowatt-hr for the energy cost and 6cents per kilowatt-hr for delivery. If the power is out, the meter is not running. Some people complained that the rates went up unannounced. If the rate went up, it is probably because of the delivery charge. The delivery rate is set by the local power company that actually does the delivery. Champion has no power over the delivery charge. Also, some people seemed to be taken in by gimmicky plans like free weekend or something. I think it's better to stick to flat rate plans unless you do the math and figure out it is actually cheaper.
