I’m baffled by all the negative reviews for CVEC. I have been a member of CVEC for 25 years. During that time I have had power outages, billing changes, fallen trees on lines, and on and on. Even had lightning strike the service mast once. But every single interaction with CVEC was not just positive, but great! Always helpful, friendly, and efficient, in person and on the phone. 5 stars is not enough. Do people not understand that CVEC provides service to a widely distributed rural area, known for inclement weather? That, sometimes there will be power outages, electricity will cost more in the winter, and even an occasional mix-up in billing and paperwork?

Managers and Hr are really incompetent at this company. They get friends and family members to leave positive reviews. I would go to satellite internet or all solar power if I had to live in an area that is serviced by internet or power in the areas theyservice, or say they service!

Our power is seldom out and any time we’ve had problems or questions, we’ve received prompt responses. We needed help recently with moving lines so our well can be fixed and CVEC was far more helpful and available than the well company and the representatives cared about us having clean water, which isn’t even their department. I am impressed with how hard these people work. Thanks for all you do!

I have been a CVEC customer for 10 years. During the past ten years, I repeatedly call to have a pole light removed so that a tree that is threatening my house and power lines can be removed. For ten years, I have seen no action from CVEC. When I call I am told that someone will have to call me back. They never call.

They will definitely get power cut back on during outage because they will not get paid if it is disconnected. Definitely a corporate monster with no real care for customers.

All these fake reviews make me sick I am a returning customer "not by choice " do to the area that my temporary house is in because my house caught fire. they hit me with an outrageous deposit of over 500 and 165 had to be paid before it would be turned on. After that they call and leave a message that my power would be turned off monday but the call was Friday evening
