At 62 years of age and having lived all over this country, in the two years I've been stuck with CNMEC, the power has gone out more than my previous 60 years combined. Couple this with the .03/kw hourworst util a homeowner is reimbursed for providing power to the grid via alternative energy, I must conclude that this must be the worst utility company.

We had a lightning strike on our pole on Friday evening July 12th and lost all power. We called and within 1 1/2 hours your guys Spencer and Patrick were at the house taking care of the problem. Thank you for the quick response. You should be proud to have professional employees like Spencer and Patrick.

We have been customers for 17 years. They are overcharging all residents for the most unreliable service in the state. They don't maintain their systems at all, they haveyin over 12 years. When we lose power, we often can't get through to even report outages, we have constant power surges that causes damage to our home appliances, they constantly raise the rates and tack on surcharges just to line their own pockets it never benefits us nor improves service. New Mexico residents in Torrance County and surrounding areas deserve better! This company should be investigated , audited and shut down for unfair and deceptive business practices.

Doesn’t show up to install electric when they say they will. Been weeks past the date set for installment and they still haven’t shown up. Bet they would if they had to live without electricity for weeks. Dodge phone calls too. Very unprofessional. Show up when you say you will.

I think central new mexico is run by a bunch of cross-eyed beer-swigging monkeys that should not be anywhere near electricity. In our 30 years of being up in the east mountains, we have had nothing but constant power surges, outages, long-term, short-term. Stormy days or crystal clear days, it doesn't matter. This has to be one of the worst utility companies EVER. IF you move to the east mountains (Edgewood area) go solar or make sure and have a back-up generator. You will need it with this terrible utility company.
