Extremely disappointed in the customer service received from both the representatives and supervisors. Power cut off due to Central GA EMC’s error - finally restored power after 5 hours and multiple calls to them. Not remorseful or apologetic at all. Just horrible. If you can find another company, please do.

The worse service from a major company I've ever experienced, paid after hour service charge and four hours later the service hasn't been restored. Made many calls and still no resolve after five hours .poor service...

If I could give 0 stars I would I have never experienced such disrespectful and unhelpful customer service as I have with Central Georgia EMC. It’s clear that they don’t care about their customers or prioritize providing any form of real assistance. When I reached out for help, I was met with rude responses and zero effort to address my concerns. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that seems to take its customers for granted. They act as if providing basic support is an inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone who values decent service and respect. Do better, Central Georgia EMC. Also you can’t even find the company on the BBB website.

$250 to reconnect power is nothing but predatory. Specially when they sent no warning of disconnection. On top of, when I mentioned to the rep that we just paid our bill 3 weeks ago and all she could say is “pay attention to your bill.” It’s due monthly!! Not every 3 weeks. $250 is the reconnect, not the bill!!!
Do yourself a favor and do not use them.

Worst customer service ever. I thought GA Power was bad. My husband's account is set up for auto payments. We received a call that our power was going to be disconnected on Friday. I called after we have ALREADY added myself as an authorized caller five months ago but not so surprisingly, they said they did not have that note. They then told me & my husband they made an attempt for the payment, and it did not go through. I contacted my bank who confirmed they never made the attempt for the payment, but Central GA EMC swears they did... But no one does their job there so why am I surprised... But also, why does this electric company want to disconnect services on a Friday?... OH, to get extra money to turn it back on! Again, why am I surprised...

Central Georgia has always been great at working with me on paying my bill. Sometimes i use time after my due date depending on the amount and as long as i communicate with them they break down the latest i can pay without my service disconnected. Customer service has always been very helpful!

Yesterday the crew came out to put the powerline under the ground. They dug up the ground left a big mess everywhere and the roots and when I contacted the customer service complaining about why did you guys do that? Then they told me we are not landscaping The person I spoke to his name, Joe I told him I do not ask you to clean something that you didn’t do. Customer service and the people it’s really bad. I mean the entire company terrible

Power has been out for 2 hours no reason and you say you have dispatched someone to our area. We have went up and down Davis Dr and NO POWER TRUCKS anywhere. Why lie about sending trucks if you haven’t.
