When I first started with Dr. Caplan, I wasn't expecting much more than feeling a little better than when I started. Just a little guidance to help me continue with my every day affairs.
What I got was a whole new perspective and understanding of good diet and knowledge of food and what it does to me.
I got to lose weight in a healthy and controlled manner. I got back energy I didn't think was possible at my age. Got a rehabilitation and willingness to do work I thought I no longer was able to do or planned for. The whole team really got behind me to help me reach my goals. My coach was patient and willing to guide me at every step. With Central Coast Center you stay connected with the team and are able to reach up to them when you need them.
I have kept what I have learned and are using it to continue keeping a good weight. Continue to use the knowledge I gain from this program to keep my energy, my good diet and my health stable.
Since getting on the program I have not reached for any over-the-counter medicines or pain killers of any kind. Have managed a couple colds with a speed recovery and no lingering symptoms and I believe this to be because of the knowledge I got from the program regarding good nutrition and healthy customs that I have continue to keep to my benefit.

I have been a patient with Dr Tiffany Caplin and Jeremiah since August and we had a 6 month plan and the results are showing. I have come so far within the 6 months. Her testing is very thorough and I had things wrong I never knew possible. I went from type 2 diabetic to just out of pre diabetes statues. I first found Central Coast Center for Integrative Health on line when searching for help regarding histamine issues that had suddenly cropped up during a very stressful time in my life. An article popped up explaining MAST cell issues in the body and a link to get help.
During the 7 months I was with Caplan Health I received wonderful care online. An in-depth consultation, as well as in depth blood and urine tests and ongoing consultations twice a month. There was advice given for diet, supplements, and emotional support. It was hard sticking to the restrictive diet, but overtime as I managed my stress levels and took the supplements required, I began to see healing take place and was able to introduce foods back into my diet. Dr. Tiffany and Jess have truly changed the quality of my life in the year that I have worked with them. When I first came to them about a year ago, I was on my third functional doctor and still was unable to get out of bed due to lack of energy and could not eat even a salad without severely bloating. I am very grateful to Dr. Caplan and his staff at Caplan Health Institute for the excellent service. Before I contacted their office, I was suffering from abdominal discomfort daily. They took a thorough medical history and explained the process we would follow. In the virtual visits with Dr. Caplan, and with Jennifer, the nutritionist, each would take the time to explain the lab results and the instructions to follow to get rid of the problem that was confirmed in the lab results. It was SIBO, something new to me, and they knew exactly how to tackle it. They showed sincere concern for my needs as a patient, answered all my questions, and walked along with me through these months. I finished my treatment and don’t need the visits anymore, but I know I can contact them in the future if I need a consultation. I trust them wholeheartedly!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the excellent care and personalized service I received from Dr. Tiffany, Jess and all the staff at The Center For Integrative Health. I have a health care background and I "assumed" I knew most of which they were going to tell/teach me...was I WRONG! I came into this as a sort of last resort because of my Celiac and Rheumatoid Arthritis and I have to say I was blown away by what I still do not know about my body, especially the gut! I will say this is not as easy lifestyle change but, nothing worthwhile usually is. I struggle with "staying the course" on most new things I try but, I am happy to say I followed "most" of the protocol and when I "fell off the wagon" a couple of times, Jess and Dr. Tiffany were incredibly supportive. The cost of the program and the supplements were expensive but, I believe it was worth every penny! Even though I have gone on a bit of a sugar marathon recently while traveling, I now have the tools to get right back on the low SIBO meal plan knowing the bloating and pain will go away just as Jess described. Jess is so full of knowledge and is a wonderful teacher. Dr. Tiffany is incredibly well versed in the field of functional medicine and she also is a great teacher.
