Payment and contact is harder than it needs to be. They got an app but u better have the password or u can't use it. The reset doesn't work and their hours are 9 to 5 on the phone. If u work that time it's hard, which is most people. But we don't have a choice. ?‍♀️

Customer Service Representative were very helpful and polite but the company and upper management are not. I had been over paying budget/detail billing for 6 years. I thought that I was saving but I was not. As soon as I decided not too longer enroll in the program, my bill all of a sudden skyrocketed when I never even utilized the gas usage because everything in my house is electric including my hot water tank. Also, I was told after un-enroll in this home service program, I was told that I would not be billed for or have to pay anything after August. That was a lie. Every month on my bill, they said that I still owed $28….smh…..I made the decision that I only need gas only between December-February months. I will have my gas reconnected in December because it’s not worth paying unnecessary fees for something that that is only uses 3 to 4 months out of the year.

I am a landlord in El Dorado Arkansas. it is the middle of the winter and they came to my tenants home and turned off her gas and have accused her of being The last tenant that lived there that just didn't pay their bill. After they made me send her lease in a PDF file! I am I right and very happy I do not have CenterPoint energy myself.

I wish zero stars were possible because that is what this company deserves. This the most fraudulent company l ever dealt with, I was charged multiple same-day fees and they never sent a technician. I was home all day and a technician never showed up but then I get an email stating that a technician came to the house and that nobody was home. Additionally the customer service I received when I called was trash. I was hung up on multiple times and They wanted to charge me another same day fee for someone to come out. After already charging my twice already. I was also told a manager will reach out, never happened. Please avoid this company at all cost.

Accounts Receivable is a very unreliable to post accounts properly.
Sent two checks in one envelope. One cleared my bank, one did not. Had to mail a new check and our company get LATE charges added. UNFAIR!!!!! Payments in past have not been posted correctly with back up provided. VERY VERY VERY angry customer.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! Their connecting time is 8am-5pm. They never called 30 minutes prior to arrival on the first day like they were supposed to. They said they could get a technician out from 5pm-10pm that evening. I even received confirmation email stating this. Waited around all night for this phone call but a tech never called or came out! They automatically put me on the schedule for next day. They called at 11:09am. I raced over to the property and was there by 11:30. The guy had already left and I had received an email at 11:25 saying they couldn’t connect because no one was home. So that means they only gave a 16 minute window instead of 30!!! There was even a roofer there that told him I’d be there in a minute but he left anyway before that 30 minute window. Called to tell them no one ever came the night before and they didn’t give me the full 30 mins to get there after they called that day. Customer service was completely rude and wanted me to pay a fee to have someone come out that night for something that was 100% their fault on TWO separate occasions!!! They said they could see that somehow my work order from the night before had been cancelled but it didn’t say why. They were well aware that no one ever made it out there during my 5pm-10pm appointment but still wanted to charge me a fee to have someone come out that night. First woman I spoke to was extremely rude and said “I’m not gonna go back and forth with you all day, you have to pay the fee.” Supervisor also would not waive the fee and was very rude for something that was an issue on their end. Said “I’m not going over someone else’s head if they already told you we aren’t waiving the fee.” If I had a choice to not use this company I would absolutely not use it!!! Today is day 3 of trying to get gas turned on and they’re supposed to be calling ahead. I stressed the importance of the 30 minutes for arrival. Guess I’ll see what happens.

Reviews need to start allowing zero stars. This company deserves zero stars and even less. Makes me wonder why they are selling out to Summit. Please READ ALL POLICIES carefully because they have a policy where they can scam you of your readings without providing the actual increased percentage rate. We use this company for business, not home use. By the time you get a bill when their meters "aren't working" you get a bill at 100%+ higher than normal even if your business WASN'T RUNNING at that time. Convient that their meter "wasn't working" right? It's almost comical. Their policy allows charges while you're not using it too so be careful. They will tell you they only did an "estimation" based on previous years however previous charges doesn't match the super increased charges. They will avoid details, comparisons, argue, and push you to just pay what they have written on your bill. It took me 10 reps, 2 supervisors, and 2 technicians, all with different stories and excuses. At the end, over 2 months, the one thorough investigation done by the only technician who cared at all was just dismissed and we just had to pay regardless of an income during that time or not. They don't care. They just want their money. Conviently when they're going out of business... karma is fun though. Im not the only one with bills. They do too. They'll see one day.

I was never in arrears with my payments. Always paid on the 3rd of each month until CenerPoint sold out to a new company. My payments have been higher than ever before. What good does it do to complain though All they will do is send another "higher" bill next month! All I have is a Hot Water Heater that I pay for....How is it $217 I have been paying on it each month.
