Woke up this morning to my water being cut off. I quickly searched for my statement to look at the date and amount. In past times, my bill has gone into a 2nd month overdue (by oversight, but my fault regardless) and I have always paid entire bill before it was ever into cutoff status. When I asked this morning (Christy -supervisor) why it was turned off for only being overdue by 12 days
(Which has never happened as long as I have lived here 40+years) she informed me it was due to the date and amount. The pymt date is 1/15/25 the amount is $50.55
Apparently by her own admission, if my water bill had been $14 for the 1st month and $23 for the 2nd month it would not have been cut off due to being under $50. I received no 2nd notice (as they informed me was mailed) nor a phone call from them before cutoff. I explained my situation (and yes, everyone has one of some kind) a 2yr old granddaughter in my home, my 43 yr old son who has a traumatic brain injury, and a husband with lung cancer. My time is spent with multiple doctor appmts or scheduling them, insurance woes, med refills, and other caregiver responsibilities, so forgive me if my brain forgets to pay a $50 water bill on time!!! Even after explaining the situation and asking them to forego the $50 reconnect fee she very candidly told me everyone has problems. Wow! After paying the $50 bill + a $50 reconnect fee I asked when it would be turned back on she informed me they start at 1pm turning water back on. It is now 10:30 am. I asked if due time my home situation it could be put on a rush? Nope, they turn them on in the order I paid my bill, so she could not give me a time and theoretically it could be 4pm today, even though I've asked for some consideration for my circumstances. She told me it was the only fair way to do it bc everyone says they have problems. So here we sit, waiting on someone to come turn our water back on whenever that might be. Catoosa Utility apparently has lost their "hometown" status and feeling for residents in favor of the usual corporate "we could care less" what your situation may be and no we will not work with you! 🤬

If possible I'd give 0 stars. I paid my bill in the am after traveling for work for 2 weeks. They shut my water off. Refused to turn back kn without a 59.00 fee. Then a smart ass lady in the office wants to say she doesn't have a boss?!?!? Thata okay. I'll be up there in the morning. 0 stars.l Horrible handling of customers.

Oh this has been going on for awhile, I try and keep the money over my bills there, do to I hate even calling them for anything. I had called 3 yrs ago over there Meter, told them I could not get it to cut off to my home so I could work on the water. Was pose to fix nope,called again first of this your because a pipe busted and I need to fix but once again do to Meter could not. Took a wk to fix pluse they pulled the meter. I got charged for not being able to turn there meter off and water kept running, because it was broke. So today the cut my water off after I just spoke to them less than 2 wks ago, one more snotty female behind a phone. So on the bill they took a 30$ bill jacked to 50 then, want another 50 to cut it on. But when you speak to these women they don't give you im charging another 50 on top. Then the answer at the drive threw is well that is your place to now, not ours to tell you. Talking about a woke company. Just as the manager told me it was my fault I could not cut my water off this year do to there broke parts they did not want to fix for 3yrs. I should put a cut off value at my home for there faulty parts. So it was only right I pay the almost 100 dollar bill fighting them so I could fix. It's my fault they did not up date my info. It's my fault they do not say hey when you pay It's a extra 50 witch is over charge, for poor water quality to begin with. So if you want to be miss treated and told it's all your fault then move where u have to deal with this company.

Our water bill has been increasing over the past few months. We requested that someone come out and do a check for us. Chris came out and was able to determine that our water pressure was extremely too high and suggested that the pressure reduction valve might be bad. We replaced the valve and Chris came back by to check our water pressure, voluntarily, so we knew that we had fixed the problem. Chris went out of his way to assist us with this problem and we greatly appreciated his customer service, going above and beyond to help us out. Thanks, Chris, for your excellent customer service and knowledge!
