I cannot say enough good things about Carolina Mountain Solar, the people they employee and the products they offer.
They came recommended to me from a friend, but I also did my own research. I had spoken with Stuart from Carolina Mountain Solar who answered all my questions and any concerns I had, I concluded that Carolina Mountain Solar was the company I wanted to go with. Their technology, their customer service and their attention to detail gave me great peace of mind.
Stuart, was helpful all the way through the process. He explained step-by-step what I would expect. He was very informative on rebates offered, permits (they handle all permits) required and the technology of the products they install. He is quick to answer or return my calls and always has an answer for me. They can also monitor your system for any issues and sometimes fix them remotely without having to come out.
Luke and the instillation team was experienced, quick and neat. They were on time for every appointment. Their work was very professional and neat. All the follow-up appointments (connections, inspections) to get the system up and running ran well. I installed a battery with my system with solar panels. Here again, Luke and his team came to the house to start the install and explained each process as they went along. They were personable, professional and efficient.
I truly enjoy working with Carolina Mountain Solar. I would highly recommend them.

It has been such a pleasure working with Carolina Mountain Solar the last few months. Stewart is very responsive and got back quickly helping with a minor issue from the installation. Luke and the guys are super helpful explaining the system and after installing the second battery cabinet we now have enough storage from the highly effective panels on the roof. We are very pleased with our solar installation by Carolina Mountain Solar. Our system has now been active and producing energy from the sun for over two months and everything seems to be working perfectly. The staff of Carolina Mountain Solar has been great to work with, from initial concept, through design, application to TVA and our EMC, installation, commissioning, and followup. They were especially helpful in working with our complicated scheduling issues during the installation process. Installation was very professional and surprisingly fast. We are now enjoying watching the kilowatt-hours accumulate from our planet’s unlimited power source. We highly recommend Carolina Mountain Solar.

This has been one of the best customer experiences I've ever had. CMS has answered questions, helped with paperwork for power companies and the USDA, and shown up exactly when they said they would. Installing solar can be a daunting task, but these folks know what they're doing and are incredibly helpful. I've enjoyed my interactions with Stewart, who owns the company, Sheryl and Megan, who work in the office, and Luke and Ben, who installed the system. My solar commissioning date is tomorrow, and I am sorry for the process to end.

We were very happy with the installation process. Stewart marked off the area for the panels, we cleared the area, and the installation process was as a smooth as silk. We did have one issue that the company worked with us to resolve. So we would like to commend them for their service after the sale. We had not had an electric bill over $100 until the gray days of winter and the accompanying temperatures arrived. We're obviously not making as much electricity as we did during the bright days of summer.
