Capstone has been a horribly difficult builder to work with. Happy to take our deposit early & work through the initial design stages, but horribly lackadaisical throughout the build process and after move-in. The Flooring company, Interior Logic, was supposed to revisit last Wednesday between 8 & 12 noon after not liking what their first inspector said (replace our house-wide vinyl planking). We get an email late Wed morning (not a phone call or text), to wit, "Good morning, Interior logic has just informed us due to weather they are unable to make the appointment today. Would like to reschedule for Wed Feb 13 between and and 12." How disrespectful of our time!! And is the rescheduled date TUES the 13th or WED the 14th? Replied via email and called, leaving voicemail that we were, at best, disappointed & confused and please call back. No response. More to come on our struggle with Capstone and their subs. They've been thoroughly disappointing. ;-( And more: Capstone and their subs have routinely blown us off on rework/warranty work, and this work often is of such poor quality or control it leads to more repairs needed. They promise, again and again, that they will "be there", only to gaslight us and not show up. We're well over two years past move-in and still have much warranty work to do. Our roofing has had over a dozen failures with bare underlayment for over ten months; only an ROC complaint brought them onsite to fix it. They've had four roofing companies look at it "to develop a course of action". These always start with the "new" roofer stating a new roof is needed, but after several talks with Capstone, well only a little work here or there is needed...we've documented several lapses in following the roofing manufacturer's installation requirements to no avail. Luckily we did get our flooring reinstalled, correctly, we hope, this time. Again, we've wasted months/years of our life trying to get thing just done right once and it's always a horribly frustrating experience.

Purchased a capstone home one year ago. Everyone at Capstone is lovely to work with until they have your money. At that point good luck getting them to honor legitimate warranty concerns. Highly recommend hiring an independent home inspector before closing on any home with Capstone.

Fantastic build by Capstone. This is my second Capstone home and I love it. Very well constructed and energy efficient. Kudos to Peter in sales, Ciaran, Miles and Daniel for all the great after sale care they have provided.
