The Capital City Solar services were on time and very efficient. Just before the service time, they called to give me a more precise time for their arrival. Once on site, they were very courteous and informative, explaining what was needed and how it was to be done. They accomplished what they needed to do quickly and showed me what they did, and confirmed that they had solved the issue. Very nice and effective. I now have a more effective and efficient system.

The guys that came out yesterday from Capitol City Solar were very pleasant. Checked out and cleaned the panels and checked the box to see if everything is working properly. They explained everything they did and I was very impressed with their work ethics. Thank you so much Good job Judy Hurner

I really don't take any pleasure in leaving less than 5 Star reviews, but I felt it was important to let them know and other customers of my experience. I originally had Capital City Solar install solar panels on my home in August 2023. I was very pleased with the service and installation. Everything is working well and continues to do so.

After this experience, I decided to expand my system. So I contacted Capital City Solar in September and signed a contract for an additional 7 panels. Everything was going smoothly, but I then receive a notification from the City of Roseville stating that the solar plan they designed was rejected. Just a coincidence but this also happened to be on the same day I paid them $1,000 that was due upon completion of the design. Just a terrible look. I didn't hear anything from Capital City Solar about this until I reached out to them to inquire about what was going on. Just very disappointing.

Capital City Solar incorrectly calculated how much energy my expansion would be able to produce and so they came back with a four panel expansion instead of the original seven. I get it mistakes happen. I was just really disappointed with how I felt I was treated during this whole process. I always paid on time and held up my part of the deal. Unfortunately, I didn't always feel like that was reciprocated. It is what it is. I decided not to go ahead with the 4 panel partly based on how I felt I was treated. I ended up paying $2,000 for nothing

Anyways, I would still recommend them to anyone interested in solar panels, and I don't doubt their sincerity. This was a unique situation that I am sure they don't encounter very often. Nonetheless I was profoundly disappointed with how I was treated and I felt that needed to be expressed.

Capital City Solar installed our rooftop system in November of 2021 and our system is still running smoothly. Andy Russel is our solar advisor. Whenever we’ve had questions or issues, he is always prompt and happy to help. In light of the Sunpower wind-down, Brittny is doing an excellent job running interference between us and Enphase regarding our new gateway and monitoring app. Keep up the great work!

I was having trouble with my Solar PV system. I contacted Capital City Solar in Roseville among a couple of others. They were quick to respond to my inquiry. They were honest about the difficulty to find an inverter for a system as old as mine. I was kept posted on the search and an inverter was found in a reasonable amount of time.
The inverter was installed by a courteous and informed electrician. The system is now operating again as before. The staff at Capital City Solar has listened, been helpful and efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone needing repair or installation of a new solar system

I was assigned Capital City Solar by SunPower Corporation as a subcontractor to install a SunPower SunVault battery backup system. SunPower Corporation filed bankruptcy before the subcontractor was able to complete the SunPower project and Erika (with the assistance of Nicole) at Capital City Solar recommended remodeling the in place 26 panel system with new Enphase Microinverters and add 4 additional solar panels (as what was going to be added for the SunVault product) and the new Enphase battery backup system is fantastic. I had been working on getting solar battery backup since 2022 and no other vendor even recommended retrofitting my original 20 panel array from a single inverter to 20 Enphase Microinverters, so I am most impressed that Erika made the recommendation to remodel the existing 20 panel array since the single inverter was on year 6 of its 10-year warranty, and everything is working well with the remodeled original 20-panel system installed in August 2016. The Capital City Solar installers (5 people) were all very detail oriented and the several governmental inspections that occurred for the new and remodeled components all passed during the first inspection by the various agencies. The office staff were very patient with all of the questions I asked about the remodeled system and overall, it was a very satisfying experience working with all of the people at Capital City Solar. I was completely surprised at how complex the system is when being installed and now that it is up and running, I understand why the system is more complex than I anticipated it would be (even though it looks exactly like it looks on the project plans). If I have any acquaintances that are interested in solar energy, I will highly recommend Capital City Solar to them.

Capital City Solar and it's employees made the process flawless. Their salesman, Andy was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the system that was perfect for us. Between Andy and Nicole, all questions were immediately answered, helping us know for sure that we had picked the right company. The install crew: Dan, Jason, Javier, and Philip were all professional, respectful, and experienced. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better company, and would recommend Capital City Solar every time.
