From the outstanding customer service, continuous shipping updates, the bike arriving next to fully assembled, and excellent packaging, above and beyond a great experience. Cambria bike shop was one of worst experiences I have ever had going to a bike shop. I brought my fixie in there to get all checked out since I just bought it off Facebook and being that it’s a fixie it doesn’t need much done. There isn’t anything to work on really, it’s the most basic form of bike but I haven’t had a lot of time on my hands to get it riding again. When I took it in an employee somehow miscommunicated to me that the $100 tune included new tubes, tires, and re wrap of my bars.. etc just the basic stuff and that the labor was all wrapped into that cost and since they were doing it that sounded great. I called Monday after dropping it off on a Friday asking about updates to my bike and the guy answered saying how I was pretty far down on the list and they haven’t gotten to it and assumed that the only reason I was calling was because it was my only mode of transportation. Just felt very rude and off putting customers service wise. then the next day they called me that my bike was done and when I asked what was done to it all they said was air was put in the tires and they re wrapped the bars and I assumed since that’s all they did it would be less. I was very wrong they told me $115 and I don’t disagree I did agree to the $100 before hand but I agreed to it because of what I told was getting done. I went in there to explain the situation and the mis communication to the employees and how the phone call felt rude and how I feel like I should just pay for the bar wrap and the labor for putting that on and all they said they could do for me was 10% off which only took off the sales tax of course and I still payed the $115. I’m very disappointed and feel like I just got scammed and from a 22 year old that grew up in slo that is going to Cuesta College with not a lot of money and just was wanting to support a local business I will not be going back here and I hope that maybe the owner will see this review and make it right.

Terrible service. I took my ebike to fix a problem with the breaks making a squeaking sound and $300 later is still doing it.
I took it three days ago to fix a flat tire, and it not only took them 3 days to fix it, but they charge $86 for it.
I would highly encourage not to use their services if you have a choice.

Got my Downhill bike from them and shipped to me, they had good communication and a competitive price, but the shipping time was much longer than they claim. Other than that everything went smoothly!

It was a spontaneous adventure on a cloudy Saturday late afternoon, the 3 of us embarked on with the help of saintly Sander & Cambria Bicycle Outfitter! $105 grand total for 3 City E-Bikes, the e-bikes were nice, easy to use and perfect for cruising Cal Poly campus and charming downtown San Luis Obispo. Highly recommend Sander & Cambria Bicycle, I'll be back!

I would have originally given this place a 2/5 as the workers were rude, uninterested, and or passive aggressive. I’ve been about 7 to fix my crankshaft, inner tubes, spokes, etc. However; the last I went, the worker named Eric was concise, nice, and did something that took 20 minutes right there and then. Thanks, Eric.

Great independent bike shop. Reasonable pricing. Capable, experienced, resourceful people who are also nice! Full service shop and great bike inventory. Built up my Steel Fairlight Strail road frame w high-end components. Place has a great vibe; low key and relaxed with responsive, passionate, experienced bike riders to help you out. This is the way a bike shop should be.

Cambria bikes in San Luis Obispo what a great place to buy a bike or to have your bike worked on ! Visiting from San Francisco I purchased a battery from their online sales. Alan in the warehouse really went out of his way to help me out. Turns out there’s confusion for the manufacturer and the battery looks identical, but it just not the right battery but anyways and San Luis Obispo a great place to ride going and see Cambria bikes great bunch of guys in there thank you.
