I don't normally write reviews, but I believe this one is deserved. California Solar and Electric was a pleasure to work with . They truly made the entire experience seamless and easy. I came to CS&E after having a very bad experience with a few other solar install companies, but was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and customer focused Mark and the entire team were. They were reasonable priced, set me up with the exact equipment I was looking for, and the lead time for install was not long at all. Most important to me, was how the company would take care of me as a customer after they took my money, and CS&E did not disappoint at all. Elyas went above and beyond prior to me signing my final engineering designs to ensure the batteries were placed exactly where I wanted them even going as far as to call the fire chief and inspectors offices to ensure we could accommodate my ask. The install team and electricians were all extremely pleasant, professional, clean, and efficient installing my 19 panels and two batteries in 2 days. To add to it all, their quality control team does a final assessment of the project and sent Henry, who was a pleasure as well, out to make the flashing look more to their liking and to prevent any potential issues that may have come up down the road on their own. If you're in the market to get solar installed make sure to give these folks a call as you won't be disappointed. Thank you CS&E for making this a fantastic experience.

I interviewed a handful of companies and from start to finish they were very responsive, professional and all around helpful. Chris, Elias, and Henry in particular were my main points of contact and super helpful.

We have a duplex at Newport Beach with minimal setbacks and working space and they made it happens. We did a full roof with a company they recommended. Then with CA Solar and Electric, we did new electrical panels, breaker boxes, solar and battery storage.

Just recently completed my solar install with CS&E in Rancho Cucamonga and you could not ask for a better company to work with. From sales to installation, all phases of the project were completed on time and with the utmost professionalism. Mark Howe, my sales rep was great, quoted a clear price with no hidden costs. Elias Quintanilla was my project manager and he was excellent, kept me updated on all steps to complete the job. Kalen and Jose were on the install team and both did a great job too! The installation team does very clean work, you can see by the pictures. My system included 25 solar panels with one Enphase backup battery. I did a lot of research before choosing a solar company to work with, I even had Tesla out at first and they were horrible to deal with and very unprofessional. The price was very competitive, especially against some of the bigger named companies out there. Loving my new electric bill, I'm on track this month to have a $0 bill from SCE. With SCE rates going up every year, you can protect your electrical costs and save money! Yes, even with NEM 3.0, you can save money. You can't go wrong with CS&E, check out their reviews and you can see why! I'm in the real estate business and I would recommend CS&E every time! Oh, and Christopher the owner answers the phone when you call in, that's service!

Excellent experience. California Solar & Electric offered the best quality equipment at the best pricing. The entire process was easy and stress free. I feel very fortunate to have selected them. I shared this information with all of my Neighbors. Unfortunately, many had just had Solar panels installed, at a higher price, and with lower quality hardware. If you're thinking about Solar panels, and your in the SoCal area, don't choose anyone else.

California Solar and Electric did a great job with my solar project. I purchased a solar panel system with battery backup that works with or without grid power. I shopped around for multiple quotes. What I found first was the CS&E (California Solar and Electric) had competitive prices, no high pressure sales, and was very responsive to my questions and power needs. Mark Howe did an excellent job walking me through the process and the options available. Not once did he try to use cheap sales tactics that the other providers tried. It was always information, facts, and price. He was big on making sure the return on investment was prioritized. Yes he could have sold me more a larger system, but he advised me that the return on investment may not make sense. Additionally, he has been responsive well after the sale. Additionally, the entire CS&E team feels this same way. As questions continued throughout and after the install process, I always received quick and accurate responses. The entire project from design to purchase was quick and efficient. Never once was I wondering or waiting for what was next. Mark and his team were all over it. About the only constructive feedback I have is really not on CS&E but more on the solar parts supplier. Either way, still not a huge delay or big deal. I would 100% recommend CS&E for my future solar needs. It's nice to have a local company with core business values and practices to work with.
